Lelystad (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈleːlistɑt] ( listen)) is a municipality and a city in the centre of the Netherlands, and it is the capital of the province of Flevoland. The city, built on reclaimed land, was founded in 1967 and was named after Cornelis Lely, who engineered the Afsluitdijk, making the reclamation possible. Lelystad is approximately 3 metres (9.8 feet) below sea level.

Excellent choice to dine to close down the busy workingweek. Every friday night a special dish of the day. It comes with french fries and always a very tastfull mixed salad dish. The staff is very hospitable and pays well attention to all guests.

We called ahead for a reservation and explained some dietary needs and we were assured that all would be fine. Atmosphere wise and food quality were superb! It was the fine details that were lacking. We explained several times I am on an extreme low carb diet, carrots or any other vegetables with carbs are a no. What did they bring? A platter of carrots and zucchini and my salad was smothered in a sugary balsamic vinegar. I'm not trying to be nit picky, but at their prices serving us grocery store tea was sort of a slap in the face. At least they remembered my husband cannot have dairy! The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was cute but if you do have any special requests, skip this place as they just don't get it.

One of cozy restaurants in Lelystad. Food are great and service is super fast. This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seat. It looks so nice outdoor. Unfortunately it rained when we went for dinner. We will definitely go back when weather is good. Recommend for you all to try :)

The owner/manager of this place is loudmouthed, unpleasant and incompetent. You can wait for a long time in an unpleasant atmosphere for low quality food. It's well worth a detour to avoid this rock-bottom dining experience! As our yacht is berthed in the adjacent harbour, I have been to this place maybe 3 or 4 times over the past year. I can report that the quality is consistantly abysmal.
