Went here for the last night of out holidays and we were not disappointed. The steak was fantastic and they were all cooked exactly how we wanted them. Plenty of space to sit outside in a nice area of the town.

Spent the Friday evening here for diner with my family. Location is beautiful, staff very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, nice atmosphere. Quality of the food also no complaints there. Portions on the other hand were small and looking at the price even way too small. And the loud music later on in the evening did not invite to stay any longer for a drink, tant pis..

This lovely restaurant is off the main tourist beat and mainly frequented by locals. The food is good-I had a lovely spinach cannelloni and my partner a good steak. The house red was lovely. Nice ambience, although the staff were flat out on a Friday night.

The beach bar has a lovely relaxed vibe, situated just alongside the river. Thereâs plenty of room to and drink both inside and outside, with a sensibly priced, tasty menu. Sadly the kitchen and the bar close at 6pm - if only theyâd open in the evening!

Some of us might remember the Disney film of the same name and the play of words between Remy (the Rat) and Ratatouile (the one vegetable stirred up dish)where the rodent faces the challenge of becoming a chef, while pleasing the food critic , is memorable.This story has proved irresistible to restauranteurs and the Restaurant Ratatouille in Harderwijk,a Hanseatic Town in Holland,is one such manifestation. Located in the historic Vischmarkt square of the Oude Town, the place is the brainchild of Wim Zwaart (Masterchef) and Tina Zwaart (Vinologist) and has undergone extensive redesign opening up spaces at different levels, affording views of the modern kitchens and providing various private seating arrangements.While Restaurant Ratatouille is open only for dinner and Sunday brunchthe extensive menu and wines draws clientele both far and near to its doors.The prices at this possibly the best restaurant in the area are high as befits the high standards set and no one is complaining.The tradition of Ratatouille is in good hands.

To finish our midweek short trip in Gelderland we chose for De Basiliek because they has a nice offer with Heerlijk.nl.A 5 dish lunch which was enjoyed with an excellent Viognier. All dishes were something special. They first appearance is beautiful. The first taste is nothing special, but when you combine its ingredients it appears that the chef knows what he is doing. Complex taste and beautiful presentation is a trademark for this restaurant. Only point of criticism is that the portions are too small......but do not let you be withhold to go over here, because they may be small but are certainly outstanding at a very reasonable price .... as long as it lasts. ( eur. 39,50)

High quality restaurant!!, I ate a series of four dishes, each one from a different world of tastes. Waitress explained how to eat the dishes properly so the tastes would be in sync, wonderful experience of tastes in the mouth!It could be felt that the ingredients the food were made of are of top notch freshness and quality. Whilst staying at the nearby Centreparcs we came to this restaurant for dinner. Midweek the restaurant was able to accommodate a party of 8 without a reservation, and we browsed the menu. A few of us chose pasta dishes, along with the children's build your own pizza. The table service was fast and friendly. But there were a few empty tables so staff to customer ratio may not be as good when they're full. All of the food was well presented, and we all enjoy our choices. The food and drinks may be higher priced than you may expect for Holland, but there's a sort of captive market here with the resort, so it really shouldn't be a suprise.. You don't have to eat here!If you'd like a nice meal and can venture 10 minutes walk from the centre of the park, then try this restaurant in the harbour!
