Food was really quite good, nicely presented and all hot. The only minus point is the pretty grim service, ever heard of service with a smile? Ever thought of responding ot a thank you? If you don't like serving in a restaurant; find another job......

Van aperitief tot dessert genoten van een brunch in Het Notelaarshof. Prachtig kader, vriendelijke bediening, hartelijke gastvrouw. Mooie presentatie van de buffetten en heel ruime keuze voor vlees- en viseters. Alles heel goed van smaak en huiswijn was ook heel lekker. Enig (groot) minpunt is de drukte en lawaaihinder. Mijns inziens teveel volk voor de beperkte ruimte. Gelukkig zaten we in de veranda waar we iets minder last hadden van het lawaai en de drukte. We hebben ook moeten vragen om het geluid van de muzikant/accordionist wat stiller te zetten want je kon elkaar bijna niet meer horen. Het is leuk wat muziek tussen de verschillende gangen door, maar het was voor ons een beetje teveel om nog gezellig met elkaar te babbelen.

We had a wonderful dinner here with friends on a Tuesday night. The building is beautiful, as is the restaurant so it was an impressive start. The service is exceptional and our welcome was very warm. We started with the house apero, a vermouth with champagne and red fruit cocktail, on the table was delicious dips and a crisp to enjoy while we were reading the menu. We all went for the 4 course month menu with wines: I'll let the my photographs do the talking but to add everything was amazing! One of the best meals I have ever had. It's not cheap but neither is it Michelin price, however the food is of Michelin quality imho. A great find, we will be back or sure.

The food is well prepared and satisfying. My flemish stew was some of the best I've ever had. The seasonal special of asparagus was a big hit. Service is comfortably slow so plan on making a day of it, Reservations are a must--especially on a nice day.hello, Thank You for the feedback. Nice rural place to sit with different floors. This looks like a popular place as it is very busy. We took a menu with 3 courses. Starter was a little bit disappointing as the spring roll was too dry. The main course was very good for both of us. The dessert was good as well. Also the plates are nicely decorated, so they taste and look good. Price was moderate. Not expensive for what we ate. The portions were very large, so also big eaters will have enough food I think :-)At this place you can also eat a small dish like a spaghetti or something like this.
