Situated in the northeast of the Hageland region, Diest neighbours the provinces of Antwerp to its North, and Limburg to the East and is situated around 60 km from Brussels. The municipality comprises the city of Diest proper and the towns of Deurne, Kaggevinne, Molenstede, Schaffen and Webbekom. As of January 1, 2006, Diest had a total population of 22,845. The total area is 58.20 km² which gives a population density of 393 inhabitants per km².

Every country I have traveled to has their own take on Chinese food. I can't get to the "China Place" in Diest fast enough. Their Lumpia makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Lumpia is actually a Filipino take on egg-roll. I order mine with their curry sauce and the spices served on the table make for a most delectable starter. Service is always great and our server speaks Flemish, English, French and the international language.......Great Food! Special orders are met with a courteous smile and the end results are fantastic. I always order Chicken breast sauteed in garlic butter, which is not on the menu, and it is FANTASTIC. I am always ready to return to this warm and friendly enclave anytime I can. Smakelijk

Op donderdagavond gingen we hier eten met ons tweetjes. Op de hele avond zaten we daar in met 8 man in totaal. 1 van ons drinkt geen alcohol, de andere wilde all in, was niet mogelijk. Buffetten waren niet gevuld, lauw, temperaturen ondermaats van koeling. Dat FAVV hier nog geen controle is komen doen staat buiten kijf. Teppanyaki en wok laten bakken door een kok die net 1 kilo citroenen heeft gegeten, barslecht, even van geproefd alles terug gegeven. Sauspotten mayonnaise, tartaar, cocktail van 3 liter van Vandemoortele hervuld met vieze andere sauzen, hier en daar hangt er nog een ticket van het merk op. Onvriendelijke bediening. Dringengd controle FAVV nodig, etiketering, data, koeling, afkomst eten, onderhoudsprodukten.... diegene die dit TOP vinden zijn helaas niets gewoon. Tip : wil je je darmen eens goed reinigen, dan is deze Wok âthe place to beâ neem alvast een immodium in bij aanvang van het buffet.
