We had dinner here with our kids on night and nothing really stood out except for the long wait even though the place was not very busy. There is a small terrace which allows outdoor seating but there is nothing attractive about it.Prices are average. Food is average. Would I return ? Probably not.

We had the 3 courses lunch menu (â¬39,50) which left us the choice between 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. The salmon and squid carpaccio was really delicious (very well seasoned, all tastes in balance). The scampi fritti were a bit less surprising, but very ok. Our main courses where the escalopa with eggplant and parmezan cheese with pasta and the home-made ravioli, which we both experienced as a success. We both had the home-made tiramisu as a dessert. Simple but good red house wine. It's not really cheap, but certainly worth it for what you get.

We chose Publico because it was close to our hotel, but it was the perfect choice. The menu had a lot of variety. I had the gnocchi and it was delicious - a generous portion for a fair price. The bread for table was also wonderful and I had to be careful not to fill up on it! We didn't have reservations, but we went fairly early. It filled up quickly.

This is a small and deservedly busy restaurant. Booking in advance is advised. As a first course I had delicious soup with pasta. The main course of swordfish was superbly cooked and bursting with flavour. The strawberry tart was a perfect conclusion to the meal. As you might expect the wine selection is extensive and of very high quality. The best restaurant I have found in the city.

The restaurant is a physically appealing with good architectural lines. It is on a busy corner near grand place and st. Micheal & st Gudula Cathedral. It is a French Italian menu, but also in English. The waitress gave it her best shot to communicate, but spoke very little English. We chose two different dishes on the menu and were eventually told they were "done". The Caesar salad had very little lettuce or dressing. It did have a generous portion of chicken and several shrimps. It actually was quite good. The Mediterranean mix was supposed to have fish, but didn't. All the calamari and shrimp were fried without dipping sauce. When I asked for a sauce my options were ketchup and mustard. Other reviews said this is a family restaurant. We like to support family restaurants, so that was good to hear. However, on a busy Friday night there is only one chef and one waitress.

After a change of management 12 months ago. The new owners have really improved things. Prices correct and really nice cadre. The only thing that let's it down, especially at the moment, is its too warm inside. Please get something done about the air con, it's so needed.

A family restaurant. Home made pasta made with Love. The most delicious tasting pasta I have ever had. Silvana the daughter gave her recommendations which included two specials her mother makes in the kitchen. Tonight a black squid with shrimp and a porcini with spec. My husband and I shared both and loved every bite. We finished the meal with tiramisu...delish!

The San Daniele restaurant in Brussels owes its name to the famous and traditional ham from San Daniele, a small village in Northeast Italy in the Friuli region between the Alps and the Adriatic. In this way the "San Daniele" Family wishes to underline th
We made reservation 1 hour before lunch. A table for 2 was still possible, and we got a very nice table in the back of the restaurant, at the window. I loved the welcoming right away. This is a no nonsense place. No unnecessary chitchat, just to the point, taking the coat, appointing a table and get informed about how things go. The 3 course lunch goes for a reasonable 60 EUR, including 1 glass of wine. Everything was perfect from starter to the dessert. For the starter and the main course, we could choose 1 out of 2 suggestions. The coffee was not top class. Nespresso if I'm not mistaken. It's ok, but a home made Lavazza would undoubtedly have tasted better. The waiters are friendly and to the point. They have an eye for detail. Supposedly, there's a parking possibilities in the neighbourhood, but you might want to inform before hand. The restaurant is situated on a big avenue, but it is very discreet. Loved the experience. Will be back.

Good Italian restaurant, looks authentic and the food was tasty. Nothing extraordinary in my opinion but that can depend on taste and what you order. Had a pasta with salmon and other people in our group had pizzas which were big and looked tasty. Think the owners really are Italian. On a side note, in a flemish area it's too bad they barely speak flemish.
