Nice, friendly Concept with excellent food. Small menu, but really GOOD food, fine dining in a loose way. The restaurant is managed by 1 chef in the open kitchen and the owner who does all the rest. Bravo

Wine bar
Unwined moved from a back lane a few years ago to this great location just off the Grote Markt and under the shadows of the tower of St Rombouts. Sit in or out . It is comfortable retro/industrial style with a nice quirky back room and a courtyard off. There are wines by the glass and snacks. Little on the pricy side but well worth a visit for some chablis and cheese - you can buy bottles to take away also. All wines are well selected.

Velazquez has both small plates and large and i think they are all good. I was traveling alone on business and found several delicious small plates. Two small plates makes a great dinner for one person and allows you to choose interesting combinations. The soft shell crab is especially good.Thank you for you nice comment! We do appriciate it very much.

I came across this restaurant from a travel blogger. We went there for lunch and it was superb. The menu is in the native language. But the waiter is so friendly he was patient enough to translate everything. My hubby had the steak and fries, and I had the BLT sandwich. It was great. Also recommended is the green tea detox drink. It was very refreshing.
