Astounding natural wonders, invigorating outdoor recreation and fascinating cultural attractions make Flagstaff the perfect getaway to rejuvenate the body and replenish the mind. Set at the base of the beautiful San Francisco Peaks, and surrounded by lush national forests, the city provides ample opportunity for fresh air fun. Spring, summer and fall bring hikers, campers and mountain bikers, while winter draws skiers and ice skaters. But don't let a focus on the "good old outdoors" fool you. Fostered by the local university, Flagstaff is also chock-full of educational and cultural attractions. Be sure to see the award-winning permanent exhibit "Native Peoples of the Colorado Plateau" at the Museum of Northern Arizona. The Pioneer Museum offers a glimpse of what life was like for the early settlers of the region and includes a 1929 Baldwin locomotive in its collection. The city also has an arboretum and a planetarium. The entire area is a living anthropology and geology lesson, with ancient Native American ruins and stunning scenery at the Wupatki and Walnut Canyon National Monuments, just waiting to be explored.

They're located up the hill behind the Ford Used Car Sales Lot in an old warehouse. Parking isn't much easier either, but the food and atmosphere make it worth it. Some better signage would be helpful, so I'm hoping the owners read this. The sandwiches were great and the soup was outstanding. Service was also very good.

Welcome to The Cottage, formerly The Cottage Place. Join Chef Scott Heinonen and his team for farmhouse bistro cuisine inspired by the flavors of the French countryside.

After 6 weeks of refreshing renovations, we are officially open for dinner and are currently accepting reservations.

The Cottage Chef Owner Scott Heinonen is a graduate from the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. Over the past 30 years, Heinonen has cooked throughout the Southwest, Pacific Northwest and Northern California. He has also completed numerous continuing education courses at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in Napa Valley. A highlight of this time was his stint as a private chef for Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills.

Returning to Flagstaff in 2005, Heinonen was the opening chef of the popular Cuvee 928 Wine Bar & Cafe, where his cooking was met with rave reviews and created a culinary buzz with local gourmands. Following this time at Cuvee, Heinonen fulfilled a lifelong goal of operating his own restaurant. Chef Heinonen’s culinary passion is deeply rooted in cooking with the seasons and the ever-changing menu of The Cottage will emanate this philosophy. Diners can look forward to exploring French cuisine prepared with heart and soul.
The Cottage has many upsides and a few downsides. The upsides include a friendly helpful staff, a quaint interior, soft lighting, pleasant music, soft spoken clientele and many well cooked dishes. Among the dishes our party of six sampled were Marinated Beets and Crispy Brussel Sprouts, House Country Pate with Grain Mustard, Braised Lamb Shoulder Bourguignon, and Flat Iron Steak Au Poivre with French Fries (photos attached). All of the portions were reasonable (for a French style restaurant with entrees ranging from $25 to $32), well presented, and the lamb and brussel sprouts were particularly excellent. The Cottage’s few downsides include a sparsely decorated interior, closely placed tables, a mandatory 20% tip on the bill no matter how small the party, no obvious entree options for vegetarians or vegans, and very simple table settings. Bottom line, the Cottage’s strong suits are an intimate setting and tasty French style cuisine; its one weak suit is the lack of several little things one would expect of a restaurant so highly rated.

Delhi Palace Cuisine Of India Serve Lunch Buffet And Dinner Served Alacarte Menu Open 7 Days Week 11 To 2.45 And 5 Pm To 9.45 Pm
So much of what makes good Indian is the layers of flavor in the sauces. I thought Delhi Palace mostly nailed it. Flavors were delicious, extensive menu, delicious breads. It left the four of us with absolutely nothing to complain about. Delicious.

Was looking forward to eating here after a friend’s recommendation and they didn’t disappoint! Friendly staff, quick service and legit wood fire oven pizza! Wanderlust Brewery was closed but we got to enjoy their on tap selection. The toasted sesame and chocolate with sea salt gelato was the perfect finishing element. Can’t wait to visit again!

Like Panera but better. More choices, fresher food, really good desserts and terrific lemonade. We'd go back.

This place was recommended by the hotel we stay at. We found it was decorated extremely quirky. Food was very good with very large portion sizes, we couldn’t eat it all. Pricing was reasonable.

Coppa is a European-style cafe/bistro set amidst the mountains of Flagstaff serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. While northern Arizona might at first seem an unlikely dining destination for serious epicureans, Coppa Cafe's combination of talent and unconventional procurement methods have set the small, casual eatery atop the "can't miss" list of every discerning foodie from Phoenix to Santa Fe. Choosing to go against the grain of the franchise and chain restaurants often found in smaller-town America, husband and wife owners and chefs Brian Konefal and Paola Fioravanti instead favor house-cured meats, ingredients locally procured from nearby farms and ranches and foraged foods found in the forests around Flagstaff to incorporate into their dishes. Though their procurement methods might seem unconventional for the region, their talents are rooted in tradition, following lifelong culinary careers spent crisscrossing Europe and the U.S., Training under the tutelage of some of the finest and most decorated chefs in their respective countries. As Coppa's tagline states, the tiny, intimate venue offers "a taste of Europe in the mountains of Flagstaff," and the culinary team prides itself on providing just that through balancing local finds with progressive techniques, resulting in an unprecedented, sophisticated and pilgrimage-worthy experience.
From the beet soup and salad, to entrees of Cod Piperade and Arizona Grass Fed Steak Frites, and even the pine mousse and cactus butter with the baguettes....absolutely everything was totally delicious! From the quaint ambience of the dining area including the choice of music, to the leisurely pacing of each course, all contributed to an enjoyable evening!

Excellent front to back—drinks, food, and service. Everyone enjoyed their pizza. All of it was good but the Badgio Dolce was outstanding. Desserts were massive. The kids loved the s’mores pizza. Friendly, helpful wait staff. My kids rated it 10 stars.

The cheese board was fantastic with generous portions. The waiter was very knowledgable about the menu and wine pairing and the drinks were very good. The salad was the perfect size for two and the house-made dressing made even that memorable. Our main courses were duck and sausage pasta and they were both fantastic and perfectly cooked. I have never tasted a pasta dish with so much flavor; I never thought I would like that better than the duck! I like that they use local and fresh ingredients and really pay attention to detail and flavor. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy. We are making plans to visit again.

After opening in 1975, The Horsemen Lodge quickly became a popular hangout for Babbitt cowboys working on the CO Bar ranch. The restaurant-named "Horsemen" in the effort to pay homage to the ranching lifestyle-is decorated with authentic cowboy attire, memorabilia, and artwork. This way, The Horsemen Lodge doesn't just offer a hearty, cowboy-inspired menu, but it also offers an overall Southwestern experience.
The food was SOOOO good. We loved everything but the steaks were truly memorable. The salad bar was really good and we made several trips:) Our waiter was Kevin but we got lots of positive attention from other staff (we had an early dinner so the place was not super busy when we got there and we were kind of needy).
We were on our way from the Grand Canyon to Sedona and wanted to stop for a good meal. We were not disappointed. Thank you Trip Advisor for what you do.
