Shangri-La in Mauritius has been by far the best hotel of our round trip. From the very warm and funny goalkeeper (it was a gentleman I think his name was Marc) to the laundry service (Deepmala). Everyone does a wonderful job at this hotel. When we came to dinner, we really liked the Kushi. Great Japanese sushi and a good Wagyu fillet. The cocktails were great every time! The activities (standup padelling, beach volleyball, snorkeling, parasailing, aqua gym) there were always fun. There are also employees who play volleyball very well. We also enjoyed the sunrise from our room. The hotel is really great and you always have your privacy despite the size. We are thrilled and will most likely come back! Thank you for the great experience dear Shangri-La, stay as you are!

A Sun Resorts property, Long Beach Golf & Spa Resort is located on the east coast, along one of the island's longest and widest natural beaches. Opened in 2011, it is an elegant and affable holiday resort featuring a unique blend of island chic architecture and tropical landscape. Its 255 rooms are harmoniously arranged in three semi-circles with wonderful views over the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon, the coral reef and the Indian Ocean beyond. With a choice of 5 restaurants, and an extensive range of activities including preferred access to the Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club, your holiday at Long Beach Mauritius are a long way from ordinary.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Open toilet facilities was not helpful. Checkout the restaurant before you order. Not all the items are included, you have to pay if you choose certain items. Little bit confusing.

Ambre Resort is an all-inclusive adult only resort located in Belle Mare, on the east coast of Mauritius. The resort is one hour away from the airport and from the capital city of Port-Louis. The resort boasts a 700-metre white natural sandy beach running along a sheltered bay. The adjacent tropical lagoon is a haven for fish and marine life, with many bathing and diving areas. The hotel looks just like the photos, it is beautiful. The first thing we really appreciated was the service on arrival, after two flights and a whole day of travel the Tui rep was at the airport within a few minutes and she directed us to our own air conditioned taxi. The friendly driver told us about the island on way to hotel. At the hotel we were immediately offered refreshments and seated whilst we checked in, bags were taken to our room and we were shown the facilities as we walked to our room, (after a very quick Covid test), staff were wonderful. The room was clean and spacious and the fridge had complementary snacks and drinks refilled each day. Big shower and big bed which was very comfortable and dressed with flowers. Silas who cleaned our room was really friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurants was brilliant, I loved all the curries particularly. Loads of choice and their home baked bread was excellent too. The drinks were generally good, lots of choice in the all inclusive menu, sometimes the same drink could taste completely differently depending on who made it though! Evening entertainment was varied, we loved the Indian dancers and the hilarious Karaoke night., Beaches by the hotel are absolutely stunning, no problems getting sunbeds and drinks are brought to you on the beach ( takes a little more time than at the bar of course). The water is clear and quite shallow, so very safe by the hotel, we saw lots of fish, sea anemones and crabs. Would thoroughly recommend the 5 island trip (booked through Chris (who you'll see on the hotel beach) a wonderful day where we fed monkeys, visited a waterfall, drank lots of coffee (rum) saw dolphins and a sea turtle and had a bbq on an island beach. Also brilliant for a visit is the Casela Nature park where we enjoyed a quad bike safari, and fed giraffes zebras and ostrich. I loved every second of this holiday and will definitely return.

Spent 6 days at this property last week. What an amazing experience it was. At our arrival, we were greeted warmly by the staff who took our our luggage from the coach. At reception, a very pleasant personality named Abha helped us knowing the details /facilities/food/activities during the stay. Another resource Tina made us comfortable and explained the procedure to take Antigen test which then went on smoothly. Julie also helped us through out the stay. Checking in was very smooth & quick process and we were soon inside connecting rooms as we traveled with our kids. Both rooms were very spacious, airy, full of natural light as well as the lights inside the room. Very good sleep quality. Resort has 3 restaurants- two for breakfast/lunch/dinner & one for snacks during most of the day. 2 Bars - 1 at beach and 1 inside. During our meal times, every staff under leadership of Rajesh & Rajesh (chef) took care of smallest of our needs. Both veg & non veg options were plenty along with salads that too with great taste. The boat house staff took care of our water activities superbly. Taxis arranged by the resort staff as & when required in quick time. Spent some good time by playing volleyball with other guests and socialized with them in the bar that had some excellent collection of wine/beer/other alcohols. Hospitality was absolutely top class & unmatchable. Special mention for Manager Mevin who was around always to offer that special feeling of being taken care to all the guests. The resort has everything that a class traveler looks for, truly an Awesome experience.....

We stayed at Solana Beach for the birthday of my wife and we were just blown away. Impeccable service from start to finish. The check-in experience was swift and we were welcome with a glass of champagne and some chocolate. This already set the tone for an unforgettable weekend. We were brought to our room and we were amazed by the beauty, cleanliness and the breathtaking view. The garden is just wow! Very well maintained, clean and so relaxing to dwell in. The pool is nice with a jacuzzi :) Food was very great and varied. Thank you also for the birthday cake served to us, a very nice gesture that we appreciated a lot. Service at the restaurant was top notch every time. Special thanks to Rakesh at the restaurant, Mackline, Dominique, Geraldine from reception, Chef Vikash, Poovalen, Uma & Veena from housekeeping, Ikbal who made sure we were well settled for dinner and in our room. There are so much more to name but everyone was perfect!!! Last but not least, a big thank you to the General Manager, Mr. Teelwah for all the little attention, the nice chats and ensured we had the best experience. Well done!!! We will surely come back again. This is the place to be!!!

Sparkling in warm Indian Ocean, on a private peninsula wrapped in ribbons of sand, One&Only Le Saint Geran is a vibrant tropical playground where the marvels of Mauritius are revealed in ultimate style. Holistic health among blooming gardens. Epic adventures through colourful towns, coral reefs, and wild parks. And an array of enchanting dining, over sparkling waters or feet submerged in sand.
We stayed in the One&Only Le Saint Geran resort in late May 2022 and found it to be excellent. We were there as a family with our 7 year old and 3 year old and were made to feel extremely welcome from the first minute we arrived. Our 3 year old son can't swim and Thomas and his lifeguard colleagues were excellent in helping keep him safe, not just in the pools but also when he was busy around the pools. The service generally was excellent, particularly Eric at La Pointe. All in all it was a wonderful 9 days and we would love to return in the future!

This resort is one of a kind. The villas are world-class in terms of interior design and standards. The outdoor shower is a great touch and the bathroom, surrounded by windows, is a delight. The resort is big but still you can walk around everywhere without the need of a buggy car. The beaches are nice and you can select from a couple of them. Friendly and prompt service

Anahita Golf & Spa Resort, A New lifestyle Resort...
We have just left Anahita golf with the feeling we will definitely be back. 5 years ago we went to Four Seasons Anahita and we were a bit worried when on a friend recommendation we decided to change to Anahita Golf The reason was easy :our son is now 10 and we prefer all to have our own room. The prestige suites and villas offer you that. stay together while separate. The truth is that on arrival we were a bit surprised as the prestige suites are on three levels and it is not your typical luxury resort, if I can put a minor negative is that I think they need a full refurbishment. Amalthea villas and junior suites look extraordinary. Once you settle , you realize that the room is enormous, 180sqm and everyone is friendly and easy and the resort starts growing on you. Ile aux cerfs is an incredible beach and golf course. Waking up at 6:40 to tee out for 9 holes at 7 am and have breakfast at 9:30 in Anahita golf is special and the food at all the restaurants is spectacular. Tennis facilities , good gym and a great driving range complete the offer. Special thanks to all the personnel, they are kind and helpful, Alain, Soon, Bissot, Suraj and everyone made us had a great time!
