We are convinced that there can be luxury and design in simplicity.
I've stayed three times and only once did I have a bad experience. I've stayed in both the double room (shared showers and toilets), and the room with attached kitchenette and bathroom. If you arrive after four, the doors are locked and we didn't receive a code to get in, as it mentioned we would. I tried calling both numbers and didn't get an answer. Luckily someone was coming out and when we went up to reception, there was a staff member there (he was trying to help a customer, probably why he didn't answer). The guests that night were extremely rowdy and loud, which was obnoxious. The other two times, there were no issues, check in was easy. Shared showers were clean, shared kitchen was convenient. It did get a little cold one night and the room heater worked great. Do make sure to pay for towels on check in, if you'll be needing them.

Situated on the mountainside of Mount Ulriken Bergen Hostel Montana has a beautiful view of the city center - and great hiking opportunities start right outside the door. Walk the mountains or go sightseeing in the city on your own or with our international volunteers. Accommodation includes single rooms, twin rooms and dorms. You can bring your own bed linen or rent at the hostel for 70 NOK per set, one-time amount. A fully-equipped guest kitchen, TV lounge, table football and table tennis, Wi-Fi, parking and a healthy buffet breakfast are all included in the price. In our cafe you get coffee and cookies for free every afternoon. Use the opportunity to make an agreement with our volunteers for an in- or outdoor activity. Nowadays Bergen is a blooming and modern cultural city with a very special history dating back to the 8th century. A bus from Montana will take you to the city center in 15 minutes - or you can walk the 3,5 km. We will do our best to make your stay enjoyable!
We had a great stay here. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. No large lockers for storing bags/backpacks but did have smaller lockers for valuables and maybe a smaller bag. Took about 20 min by bus to get to Bergen city center (but would be a bit quicker by car). Very close to Ulriken hiking trail. Would recommend!

· Comfortable beds, cheapest place to stay in Flåm at the time, kitchen was clean, bathrooms were clean. · Due to the fact that the buildings are old and historic it’s fairly loud but everyone was quiet at a respectful time. It ran out of toilet paper and paper towel in the bathrooms. Check in and out process was a little unclear to me. I never officially did either because the staff weren’t around.

A the top of the magnificent Raundalsriver, as the northern-western portal to Hardangervidda, you find Mjølfjell Ungdomsherberge. A cosy boutique hotel located only a hike away from both Ulvik & Hardangerfjorden or the picturesque Nerøyfjorden with its Flam. With a big fireplace, local food delicacies, swimming pool and sauna, its a playground all aro! Great beds, pizzabakery, freshly roasted coffee every day.
I had a very pleasant stay at Mjølfjell, beautiful located by a powerful river. Very friendly staff. Lovely homemade food, also tasty vegetarian. Expect the standard of a former youth hostel, simple rooms, some with shared bathroom. The atmosphere however is very nice and relaxed, with a fireplace, nice common areas, outdoor terrace etc. If you plan to take the train, use a backpack or bag that can be carried on your back, it is a short, but steep trail down to the hotel.

Me and my girlfriend stayed there for over night. Wanted to see Odda after watching Ragnarök on Netflix. I've seen people complain about how close this is to and old factory, but this factory was an important location in the show, so I was extra excited for that ? The rooms were OK, not the best beds or showers, and so weird to have to pay extra for linen, kinda ridiculous, but the staff was fantastic. Young British girl and a young guy were very nice and helpful ?

First of all there is not much to Hellesylt as a town. Most people were probably at the hostel for the same reason we were- to catch the morning car ferry to Geiranger. The girl at the reception wasn't that friendly or helpful and perhaps it was the language barrier since her English wasn't very good. Our room was on the second floor in what seemed to be pre fab boxes. There were two sets of bunk beds with two beds made up for my husband and myself. We had our own bathroom which was small and the shower drained directly on the floor. The hot water and pressure were great though. The wifi never worked. There was a huge lounge on our floor with a small kitchen but I did not notice any pots/pans plates etc so I 'm not sure if there was a better well supplied area or not. The parking situation at the hostel was a bit haphazard and the next morning we were boxed in so tightly I don't know if we would have been able to get out. Luckily we were not on the 8 o'clock ferry. And by the time we were getting desperate to leave for the 930 ferry the people behind us materialized and moved their car. I would caution anyone on a strict timetable to be cautious that their car does not get blocked in. Breakfast buffet had a better selection than I expected and was satisfactory. The by far best part of the hostel was the cute balcony with two chairs and a small table over looking the fjord. It was a great place to sit and watch dusk descend on the fjord.

Great location, ok rooms and a simply fantastic breakfast buffet make this a value for money choice in Voss. The all-organic breakfast made our day, with many vegetables and fruits from the nearby farm, and bread from the local bakery. Tip: ask for lake view if available.

It is not essay to travel with dogs in Norway. We found this Place and it was great. We never saw the owners, and we were the only guests for those two nights we spent there. The apartment was nice and big, and it had a small kitchen included. The is also a large kitchen available for guests. Another good part was a big lawn where the dogs could have some fun. No sheep so it was safe to let the dogs run on the lawn while we watched all the time, of course. The place is some 15 kilometers (10 miles) fromVoss along a very winding and narrow road.

Cheapest in Molde? Nice rooms, good food! Short distance to town centre. Open in 1.June-10.August. Advance booking necessary.
According to the young lady working at the reception, it is only open during the summer. The rest of the year it serves as a dorm or "retreat" place for folk school students. Our room had 2 bunk beds. Note: This hostel is not located in the city centre. Pros: -Clean common toilets and shower in the hallway and no wait time at all. -A guest kitchen on the second floor where we stayed -Free waffle coffee tea -Shelve space, desk with drawers, cabinets with hangers and metal baskets to spread your toiletries and stuff -A sink with a mirror inside the room -Wonderful breakfast in another building the next morning. -Ample free parking Cons: -didn't have any hair dryer in the common washroom or any to be borrowed from the reception
