Stumbled across this little place during our seafront walk. The weather was nice so this seemed like a good idea to have a snack and sit at their outside seating area admiring the lovely views. They offer a wide range of snacks including jacket potatoes, bacon butties, sandwiches and your usual seaside favourites like Hot Dogs, Cheeseburgers and Candy Floss. They also offer lighter snacks too such as crisps, cakes, biscuits and scones.I opted for a cheeseburger and a cold drink. My wait wasn't long, and service was pleasant and polite. This was the most enjoyable cheeseburger I've had in a long time and furthermore one of the most reasonably priced ones too from a seaside outlet.Would definitely recommend, and we will remember this place should we ever be in the area again.

Home to a 200+ year old grape vine, attached to Cliff House, the former holiday home of Charlotte Bronte.
I was so happy to see this little gem of a cafe, still going strong after all these years. The first time we went there as a family, I was around 3 years old.We frequented it then regular on vacations to Filey.I recently road my motor bike back around my childhood haunts, and was so pleased to see this Cafe still open and bustling with customers. The vine looking so healthy and thriving in its surroundings.Well done for keeping a part of Filey history alive.Thank you for your wonderful review. Kind regards Sue Cresswell

A lovely little spot where locals meet at regular intervals, the staff are volunteers and all proceeds go to the church. If you wan't gourmet food don't come here but if you wan't a nice friendly atmosphere where all are welcome and enjoy the chit chat over a tea or coffe it's for you.

Filey's original tearoom. Well known for a variety of home made cakes & year round crab sandwiches.Open all year Mon-Sat.
To save a walk from the golf club car park, we parked close to the town centre. Remembering our visit last time, we once again called at this establishment. The welcome was as remembered and the fare excellent.Staff very friendly and informative. This is a once a year visit usually but perhaps a sooner return visit is called for.

Traditional home cooked food, with something for everyone. We pride ourselves on our warm and friendly atmosphere as a family-run cafe. We hope to see you very soon!
Called in for a pot of tea and a scone while visiting Filey. Excellent (and huge) pot of tea and decent scone. Pity we weren't feeling peckish as the main meals being served looked good. Friendly very welcoming owner, we felt like regulars by the time we left! Will return.
