Things to do in Vanua Levu
We were staying in Labasa for two nights and after eating here the first night came back for the second. The menu has plenty of options and the food was tasty and well cooked. The serving sizes are generous and both time we had two stir fries or curries, two bowls of rice and a glass of wine each and neither time did we pay more than $40.00. Compared to some of the fast food places on the main road this was excellent value.
Great Place for Lunch.Air Conditioned.Quite busy.Fairly Cheap.Other good choices of Food if you don't eat too much chicken.
Nice restaurant. Been here many times for good Indian food. Sometimes it can get quite busy as it is popular with the local Indian crowd. Fantastic great food and service.. will come again. Thanks everyone..
Awesome Indian home made dishes with the taste of home. Just like mum made it or better. Goat, duck, fish, chicken curries. Veggies dishes. Pulaus and other snacks. Good service family own resturant with taste of true South Indian influence in cooking. Must visit you'll be back.
Visited for a snack lunch during the week. Place was realtively busy with a mix of locals and visitors. Whilst food menu looked nothing special there was a good range of food and beverages. We ordered sizzling stir fry and a spicy chicken disk. All was delicious, albeit quite spicy (3 of us like spicy dishes so wasn't an issue for us). Service was curtious and efficient. The decor is a little dated and possibly makes it look a little grubby, although still clean.
Our organic pasture to plate restaurant is the hidden gem of Vanua Levu. Locals and visitors regard our cuisine as the best in Fiji: healthy, unique, and original. We cook with only the finest ingredients, most of which are grown on our farm. We are healt
We loved all the staff , the owner , the excelente food that they prepare with home grow ingredients Delicious desserts , lasagna, curry, everything is delicious and the service lovely and you feel lime at home Also the kayak in the mangrove channel was great
Everyone I met during a recent business trip to the Northern Division was upbeat and positive about life. They were doing something and content about it. Many people are self employed.Labasa has various picnic spots (one near Tabia), lovely temples, the best sugar mill in Fiji, and very friendly people.Almost every one knows hindi, english, and Fijian very well. The respect for each others religion is simply amazing.
Newly opened pastry and coffee shop with fresh fruit juice and smoothie. Great variety of food which includes Indian, Chinese and European. Great place to relax both indoors and outdoors sitting courtyard.
We went to Sugarlicious for dinner following a recommendation from our hotel. The restaurant has just opened and is run by a husband & wife couple who cooked us the most incredible curry. We were served a selection of lamb, chicken, prawn and fish curries (all of which were excellent) and a fantastic dhal. This is real home cooked authentic style curry, which is packed with flavour. In fact, we liked it so much that we booked in again for lunch later in the week. It is a little hard to find - down an alley off the Main Street in Savusavu, but well worth the effort. The restaurant itself is very small so probably worth booking in advance. Much appreciated, pleasure to be able to serve all of you.Vinaka

This is a small restaurant located just across the main street from the bus terminal. They offer good fish, chicken, veg and lamb curries. Along with dahl and make good Roti too. They have different portion sizes to choose from and all are reasonably priced.

I don't always fly into Savusavu but when I do I stop in at Taste of Hidden Paradise for a bite. The food is delicious and the price is right. My wife is vegetarian and she always wants to come here for her meals. They have great vegetarian options. This rating is based on food quality and price. Recommend giving this restaurant a chance.
