Charming inn on Fidalgo Island with great view and excellent location. Located in the heart of Anacortes.
Sunrise Inn Villas and Suites didn't look fancy so we had no expectations going in, yet we had a surprisingly comfortable and convenient stay! Bed was great, room was spacious, and a kitchenette is always helpful. Hit Strawberry Bay Coffee around the corner in the morning before we headed out for the day. We had a great time and would stay again.

The rooms are beautiful, clean and most have great views! Don't miss the "crow's nest" at the very top. Take a bottle of wine with you for a lovely sunset. Our party of 10 fit just right and we continued a birthday celebration with close friends.

We had a lovely stay here for one night in Anacortes before heading to the San Juan's. It's right on the main strip, at the opposite end from "historic" Anacortes. It's unassuming from the outside, but our deluxe king room was recently remodeled, and it was roomy, clean and comfortable. The shower/tub and toilet were enclosed, and the sink just outside. There was another wet bar sink in the room, which was handy, and a long counter with cupboard space below provided great storage space for a longer stay. There was a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge as well. We found the bed very comfortable, with lots of pillows. The 2-story building is perpendicular to the road, and our room was on the far end from the street, so it was quiet. The windows open, which was a great way to cool the room down without running the A/C. There are fresh, little chocolate chip cookies for the taking in the lobby; you can warm them up in the microwave in your room! Breakfast was a generous continental offering: pastries, bagels, English muffins and waffles toasting; whole pieces of fruit; single servings of cereal, juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate packets; and the little fridge is stocked with yogurt, cream cheese, butter and hard boiled eggs. There are trays to make it easy to bring your selections back to your room. As others have noted, every staff person is warm and welcoming; no corporate attitude here. I booked this room directly with the hotel 5 months ahead, and got a great deal. Highly recommended, and I would gladly stay here again.

The Inn is built on a wooded hillside amidst towering cedars and mature firs, insulating it from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Located 2/3 mile from the San Juan Ferry and a locally owned restaurant known for its atmosphere and great food. Hop in the car and you are just minutes away from Old Town Anacortes where you will enjoy a unique shopping opportunity, as well as several other favorite restaurants.
Left my favorite expensive flip flops in the room and when I called and asked about them they said they didn’t have them. I waited till I got home and really went through all or bags to make sure they were left and still haven’t found them. Room was decent, great view and great location for the ferry. While stay ruined by an employee stealing my flip flops.

New management , recently remodeled rooms including brand new beds, beautiful ocean views, heated pool , playground/water park located just behind the property are just a few of the things that make staying at the Anacortes Inn fun for everyone!
No breakfast, juice machine and ice machines out of order. TV controller didn't work. No hook in bathroom. The sink was not in the bathroom and did not have a towel rack. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Could have used a luggage stand. Desk staff was friendly and efficient.

Across a variety of review platforms, this place had decent ratings. I unwisely ignored what seemed to be a scattering of negative reviews, naively putting faith in all the “quaint” commenters. This place is not quaint, it’s old and in severe need of maintenance. The baseboards were on and difficult to turn off as no dial for the heat register. There were NO working smoke detectors, find this disturbing with aforementioned heater on issue and found a lamp cord strung ON the baseboard. Couch had a horrible pet urine smell and was barely intact, stuffing came out upon sitting. Tub “looked” clean, tons of mildew or maybe mold? No “reception” - you ring for service and it’s answered by intercom. The man who checked us in (normal business time after 3 PM) seemed annoyed we were there. With paper thin walls, we got to hear the trashy, drunk people next to us verbally fight with every cuss word - then “make up” later. Disgusting! Yes, I know this isn’t Anaco’s fault…just know you’ll hear EVERYTHING during your stay.

We thought this was a great stay and we were pleased. The room was clean and updated and we were very comfortable. We stayed in a King Bay View room which had a great view of the bay area. We were able to walk outside and enjoy the views along a walkway as well. The service was pretty good and the casino was fun. Many restaurants inside for convenience. Food was average. Parking was no problem. We would go back.

Wonderful hotel, pleasant surprise! Newly opened, approximately one year. Our standard room had tasteful, modern decor, clean space. Maybe because it’s new but much appreciated touch‘s- soft facial tissues, especially in a cold city, well sized microwave and fridge. The room itself is kind of small but has all the amnesties needed to make the stay comfortable. Did I mention everything is clean? It’s all nice and clean. No musty odors. On route to the ferry terminal to San Juan isles, about 5 miles away. Close to variety of restaurants, walkable. Only suggestion I have for upper management, Your front desk guy is very good but a little flexibility and understanding to different situations will keep the hotel at the top. Also better quality control on the towels and sheets for hard to remove marks.

We were very disappointed in the room. It was old, very worn and outdated. The rug was so dirty, when our pet vomited water, the cloth was black after rubbing the carpet. It was very hot, no air conditioning, just a box fan and no window screens. The staff was friendly enough but since it was a busy weekend, we had no place to go to. Or we would have! Never stay there again.
