Ferguson Brewing Co. has been my wife's go-to local spot for pub-style food ever since they opened, and I agree with her choice. Neither of us drink beer, but their food quality & flavor competes very well against other area dining spots. The menu has plenty of variety to please every sort of palate. They have some of the best chicken quesadillas around town, big enough as a shared appetizer to satisfy a single diner's meal-sized hunger. Their salads are generous & fresh, and their chili is very tasty. My favorite entrees are the beef brisket sandwich & the flat breads, while their burgers & beer-battered cod are both good. My wife's favorite entrée is the pot roast sliders, but she has also enjoyed the pulled pork & the salmon BLT sandwiches. We used to share a pretzel & beer cheese appetizer regularly before our entrees arrived, but it appears their new menu now has the "Beer Cheese Dip" served with crostini & pretzel bites.
The Brewing Co. is often crowded (deservedly so), but the service usually keeps up even at peak hours. We particularly like the fact that they are open on Sunday evenings when many other neighborhood restaurants are closed. The only thing that prevents me from rating Ferguson Brewing as a '5' is that the acoustics are not favorable to dining conversation when more than a dozen or two diners & bar patrons are in the building. The high ceilings seem to amplify the noise in the dining space. If that condition could be improved, I would definitely rate Ferguson Brewing as 'Excellent' for a dining destination. As it is, 'Very Good' makes a strong statement about their product & service.

It's the definition of small town donut shop experience.
It's difficult to find just one donut that stands out as my favorite because they are great across the various flavors and fillings.
That's probably why I'll get at least a wide selection of donut holes and a large box selection of several donuts.
I love the Apple fritters, the blueberry cake donuts, probably six of the plain donuts, a cinnamon twist and at least one cinnamon roll.
I have a tough time picking out a selection.
I just wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.
It is in a strip mall and at busy times it can be tough getting in and out.
There's usually a line in the mornings; especially on the weekends.
The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.
They have really good coffee and the prices are reasonable.
Variety is the spice of life.
You'll want to remember this while looking for that one special donut.
I hope your visit is as great as mine.

Have met friends here several times. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in this quaint little restaurant. The area has a hometown feel and the restaurant offers a quaint but cosmopolitan atmosphere. Plus the food is fresh and delicious.

If you are in Florissant or near there and don't start summer at Fritz's you are missing a great experience.
Good: they have lots of variety and a sweeter frozen custard for the hot summer days. The Turtle sunday is very good, as are the choices of Root Beer and coke floats (black and brown cow's) and my favorite is Blackberry concretes (sweet custard and not so sweet blackberry's are a good mix). Lots of classic cars visit as a bonus to the custard
OK: sometimes on very hot days the custard is a little extra soft. There can be lines and not always the fastest because people take time picking out what they want.
Bad: tight parking so be careful on the parking lot. The rear exit from the lot is overgrown so drive very slow as sometimes kids walk to Fritz's and use this path.

Just recently, my daughter and I have "discovered" Ferguson. I have lived in St Louis for 35 plus years, and just recently visited Ferguson for the first time. It turns out I've been missing out! This is a nice little restaurant on a small hill right off of South Florissant Road in downtown Ferguson. It is located adjacent to an old railroad track. The inside is configured as if it were a train depot,. You order your food at the "arrivals" window and pick it up at the "departures" window. Your receipt for your food is a "boarding pass" with your order # on it. Various sandwiches and the like are available. We just ordered a sundae and a concrete (these are made with custard and can be turned upside down without spilling). Normally, the concretes in St Louis come with vanilla custard with other ingredients being mixed in. However, The Whistle Stop also has chocolate custard, which is very rich and yummy! Prices are reasonable, service is good. Definitely worth a try!!

I hadn't visited Corner Coffee House for a couple of years, and today was my first breakfast visit (I used to go occasionally for lunch with coworkers). The morning clientele included several small to large groups of coffee drinkers & breakfast eaters, and other customers who came in - including a trio of local police officers - were obviously "regulars" and interacted with the seated groups like old friends.
Considering their most recent TA reviews are nearly a year old, I recommend people give Corner Coffee House another try. The counter service was much more attentive and friendly than I had encountered previously (looked like they had a pair of relatively new counter servers this morning), and my French toast and a side of bacon were freshly prepared & very flavorful. The young man who prepared my breakfast served it at my table, and made sure I had a bottle of syrup handy. The seating is a mix of booths & tables, both short and long, in two large rooms. There are one or two lounging areas as have become popular in modern coffee houses. Ordering is at the counter, with menu items listed on high boards. They have an extensive selection of coffees (thus the name) and a wide variety of breakfast & lunch items. The fresh baked items in the glass counter looked delicious, but my breakfast filled me up.
I will be returning to Corner Coffee House at my next opportunity, to try more items and to enjoy the local chatter. It's a very comfortable & welcoming place.

The chicken is the best. Eat in our carry out. The coleslaw is wonderful. I usually use the drive through and they have never messed up my order they always have my order, no matter the amount, to me in less than five minutes. It is always piping hot. And you couldn't ask for a more pleasant set of workers. Great!!

We have never had St Louis BBQ so we had to try it. The wait staff at this location was very prompt and friendly.
We come from Houston Texas so we are very picky about BBQ. And although I believe our brisket is better …. These guys had probably the best ribs I have ever eaten. The sausage that I had was very good.
Oh, and their portions were very generous.
These guys are surely the Rib kings

Eat here often. Always fast. Always served with a smile. Sometimes has a line, but they work fast. Great for dining on a budget, or in a rush.
