Feeding Hills is a section of the city of Agawam with its own ZIP code (01030) and post office. Line Street in Agawam is generally accepted by residents as being the unofficial border. In the early to mid-19th century, a ditch was dug here to separate the two sections. Feeding Hills contains one quarter of the total population, as well as Provin Mountain, the highest point in the town, and many moderate-sized farms.

Don't let the tiny place fool you! My kids weren't so sure about what they would eat but they loved the chicken p.o. boys. The gumbo is amazing!. I had the crab cakes and the hubby had the catfish poboy. It took us right back to New Orleans! Parking is metered in front but we had no issues. A must eat in Springfield!

Mrs. Murphy's Donuts have long been my favorite. I have delivered them to New York City, Florida, and even California to share. My all-time favorite is the maple bacon donut. It is sinfully good. Chocolate cake with glaze is a great second choice, too.

As another reviewer mentioned, it takes a LOT to compare to the Italian bakeries in the South End of Hartford. That being said, Giovanni's is the best in the greater Springfield area. Their pastries, cakes, cannolis, cookie trays and other goodies compare favorably to those I knew from "the Avenue" when I was young. They also have a breakfast menu, that, while not particularly extensive, is very good. Coffee and cappuccino are also available.

Donut Dip (with locations in West Springfield and East Longmeadow) is a great place to get real hand-made donuts. They often feature seasonal varieties, like Pumpkin donuts in the Fall. Coffee is great here, and this is a popular spot with both locals and tourists passing by.

Built by Samuel Converse in 1862, the impressive Greek revival structure at 135 cooper street in Agawam, Massachusetts became home to the Federal Hill Club in 1936. Under the management of its owners, the Moretti family, that establishment remained a premiere restaurant for over fifty years. The Federal’s current owners Michael Presnal and Ralph Santaniello easily integrate the white linen elegance of that bygone era with a fresh and innovative “new American” cuisine that is perfectly prepared and impeccably served. Strong Italian and French influences inspire the contemporary culinary style of chef Presnal in dishes such as his red beet risotto, burnt tangerine glazed cod, and white-chocolate panna cotta. The Federal is dressed up as a special occasion restaurant, but is sociable and affordable enough for every occasion. The restaurant enjoys a dedicated following of appreciative diners from New York to Boston.
My sister in law held a luncheon after my brothers funeral.
The buffet was delicious. The buffet included cod, roast beef, a pasta dish, potatoes and green beans. The desert was wonderful also.
The service was very good and atmosphere festive.
After checking the dinner menu we will be making a reservation beofw the holidays.

I had the burrito with roast pork. It was excellent. The best burrito I've had. Good chips and salsa.
This is small place. Seems to do a lot of take-out. I found it pulling off the Mass Pike at dinner time for a quick meal on a trip to NY. I'll be back.
Good value - dinner for two $23 (burritos, chips & drinks).

Just stopped in yesterday and what a great new coffee cafe! Very small inside, counter seating for maybe 10. But very friendly service and the coffee is great - SO nice to have an alternative to the chain shops. Pasty case looked enticing - Mrs Murphy's Donuts from Southwick plus lots of other goodies, plus artisan breads. Loads of specialty coffee choices, plus lattes, espresso, cappuccino etc., chai teas, hot and iced coffee, hot and iced tea - the choices were overwhelming. I'm most excited about a really good cup of hot coffee served fast by super friendly servers, at a really good price. It's next to DeCaro Nursery - skip Dunkin, stop by and check it out!

My friend and I enjoyed lunch together. She had a reuben sandwich w fries and slaw. I had beer battered fish w fries and slaw. Both were very good. Only disappointment was that they didn't have any fried clams which we planned to have in going there.

Funky BBQ and Blues joint. Freshly smoked meats. Live music five nights a week. 21 plus after 9pm
Ribs & spice, not for me. Menu used to be eclectic and more upscale homey. Quite aesthetic interior, rustic, high ceilings, although a little difficult to hear others.
