The chicken and dumpling serving is HUGE. Found out after attempting but not succeeding in eating my order that my hubby and I could have shared an order. Something to think about. Entree comes with a relish tray which was nice. Choice of soup or salad. We choose the salad which was very good and fresh. We had the house made dill which was very good. Also warm bread. As I mentioned the dumplings are HUGE. There are 2 of them with the chicken underneath. You also get a bowl of string beans and a bowl of gravy. The reason I am only giving this a very good is because the food could have been warmer. You could not taste much warmth as you ate your food. There is your waitstaff person and 2 other people who were bringing water and making sure everything was going well in the dining room. These 2 young people were doing an outstanding job. I kind of felt they paid more attention to us than our main server although she did a fine job. There was no room for dessert which is a shame cause it looked like they had some goodies. You have the choice of eating either inside or out. We choose out which is a nice experience. It has been many many years since we have dined here. We were glad we came back. Not sure however if we would return again. The major disappointment was the food could have been warmer.

Downtown area, it took me a little bit to find them. The bagels were fresh with a nice assortment to choose from. The associate that helped me was super friendly and very helpful, I was buying for a large team at work, so we decided on two dozen with a mixed variety and four flavors of cream cheese. It was a huge it!

Love the atmosphere. The large fish tanks lend to the relaxing feeling. There are great choices on the menu, and very tasty food. Our server was pleasant and timely.

This is the newest location of Nicholas Restaurant, serving authentic Lebanese food in beautiful downtown Gresham. Convenient free public parking nearby, as well as street parking. Escape the hustle and bustle of the big city and have a relaxed meal with family, friends, and colleagues. Vegetarian and vegan options. Gluten-free bread for purchase or enjoy our free large pita, served hot from the oven. Best hummus in town. Dieter's menu for those counting calories. Beer and wine served. Turkish coffee. Scrumptious desserts. We also cater for meetings and events. All this and more can be found on our website. If you're traveling to the Portland area, schedule a little time to visit downtown Gresham.

Greeted immediately upon entering and seated right away. Almost instantaneously had a pizza-size piece of flatbread served with sesame seed, thyme, olive oil dip set down! That would be a meal in itself, but I ordered M’Jadra and it was fantastic! The lentils and rice done perfectly!
A definite recommend!! Go out of your way to get here, you won’t be disappointed!

In a small shopping center in suburb east of Portland, this Starbucks has the usual choices of drinks and snacks. Clean and comfortable and warm inside on a rainy day, but not too many seats. The drinks are good and consistent with other Starbucks and everyone is friendly and welcoming.

It's comfy inside so this is a popular destination for visiting with friends for coffee. There is a fireplace and the bathroom was clean. Not too noisy but try to get a seat away from the counter because it's sort of bothersome sitting and trying to speak with people right there.

Background: While we were in town to attend a wedding at McMenamins Edgefield, just down the road, we were hungry after arriving in Wood Village. Staying across the street, we thought we'd give Wood Village Burrito a try. We're glad we did.
Verdict: Wood Village Burrito serves authentic Mexican food, serving everything from Americanized Tex-Mex dishes to authentic dishes served with Tripe and Tongue! You order and pay at the counter and then the dishes are brought to you.
They serve a lot a food for a fairly low price. We ate everything that was served us, whether at the restaurant or for take out to eat later. They were so busy, they had a little difficulty keeps the tables clean. Never the less, we returned for more. Though it's unlikely we'll be invited to another wedding at McMenamins Edgefield, if we are, we'll look forward to eating at Wood Village Burrito again!

This was a cute little place, right next door to a real estate agency, which we thought was kinda funny. If you're into really religious stuff, take a scroll out of their basket. If you want a little taste of the area, take your hot coffees around the side of the building and sit at the picnic table by the rapids. Very pretty and peaceful, even though the road is right there.
