We pulled in off our Interstate 90 travels for lunch. It was immediately obvious that this restaurant rated #1 in Fairmont by Trip Advisor was also a local favorite. Everyone that was seated after us or was finished and leaving seemed to know someone in the restaurant. Our service was friendly and efficient. We ordered a Club Sandwich with home made chips and a Chicken Santa Fe Salad. The Club sandwich wasn't a triple decker, was unremarkable but good enough particularly with the crispy, salty chips. The salad was fresh and had a good mix of black beans and corn. A nice place for a traveling lunch.

The best homemade ice creams ever! They have many many flavors, the flavors of the day and they come every way you can get them. Cones, sundaes, parfaits, etc. They have special ice cream treats, great sandwiches (hot and cold) and great service. You walk up to the window, order what you want, and take it back to your vehicle or you can sit on their patio. Their ice cream is real ice cream and you can taste the goodness. DQ has nothing on this place!

I was here for a business dinner. Service was fast until they forgot one of our dinners. We were all done eating before we received our last meal. The waitress did apologize and ended up taking the meal off our bill. Big selection of food...MoreThank you, Wendy! We appreciate the great review and we’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed our tasty food. We’re happy to hear you also received great service during your visit. We hope to have you back in again soon!

Myself and two colleagues showed up here to grab lunch after working at a tower site. Our hands were filthy, and wanted to wash up, but found there was no public restroom. Strike 1.
We did spot a hose around back, and asked if we could just use that to wash our hands - but the worker apparently didn't feel the three of us were able to handle the hose that was 'sort of hard to turn on' - and was going to have to help us. I get that a place doesn't want people just using their hose, leaving it on, etc... but kind of rubbed us the wrong way. So, we ended up driving a half mile down the road to a gas station to clean up, then headed back.
We ordered up our BBQ's and blizzards. Blizzards were great, BBQ's were so-so.
Overall not impressed. If I was just in the mood for ice cream I'd go back, but probably not for a meal...and at least I would know what to expect going there.

Great burgers. No salads but grilled chicken option. Smaller place and pretty loud so hard to visit but fun place. Outside seating in the summer is awesome because it's on the lake. Can dock boat and go eat or get carryout.

This is a well established place in Fairmont. Good pizza. Friendly service. Nothing spectacular as a restaurant. Long wait for delivery, quicker to go get it yourself.

Having never been to a Pizza Ranch before, my mother and I dined here and I was surprised at how many food options there were! Not only is there many kinds of wonderful pizzas, i.e. macaroni and cheese, bacon and something else, all kinds of "different" ones, there is a whole buffet filled with entrees such as chicken, ribs, potatoes and gravy! The dessert bar is filled with wonderful fruit pizzas or other kinds of tantalizing "pizza" choices with a nod to sweet and yummy! Very clean and the food is replenished often.

Kid-friendly chain known for baked goods, breakfasts & other American standards in dinerlike digs.
We left our home early on a Saturday morning for our annual trip to the Black Hills. After driving for 4 hours we stopped at the Perkins in Fairmont for breakfast. We have eaten at many Perkins restaurants across the country and this, by far, is the worst experience we have ever had at a Perkins. We were seated immediately when we arrived as it wasn't very busy and there were lots of empty tables and booths. We received our beverages and placed our order within 10 minutes. A muffin was part of my meal and that was also served in a timely manner. Then we waited and waited and waited. 30 minutes later our server came by and told us there were only 3 cooks in the kitchen; 2 on one side and 1 on the other and our order with on the side with 1 cook. However, it should be out shortly. She didn't offer to refill our beverages after such a long wait. 15 minutes later the hostess came to our table and told us they were a bit short staffed but our food would be out shortly. I told her that I certainly hoped so because we were ready to go to the McDonald's across the street. 10 minutes later our food finally arrived. The portions were small and the potatoes were barely warm. The toast was dry. We were so hungry we ate it anyway rather than complain and possible wait another hour for replacement food. Again, our beverages were not refilled. Immediately after we received our food the couple across from us received their food, they had ordered only 15 minutes earlier. Not only were our beverages never refilled, but we were not offered a discount for the excessively long wait. We will most certainly not be stopping at this Perkins on our trip next year.

The only reason I gave this place an "average" rating was because my lunch was good. The service was not. The only time the waiter said "thank you" was to ask if I was done signing the credit card. Otherwise the service was fairly nonexistent. He didn't ask how my food was or if I needed anything else. Will I be back? NO WAY.

Pick your cup, frozen yogurt flavor, and a gazillion toppings to choose from! Delicious! You pay for how much it weighs..is that brilliant or what? The staff was so polite and accommodating. Sit outside or inside. Plenty of room for a large party. I loved it!
