When we gather with friends who we see rarely... the Bistro is a great choice to catch up and enjoy the rustic interior ... just perfect...with great special entrees ...quiet and romantic for other dinners ...like to catch up with dear relatives here too! I think the lighting at night is lovely inside and out....very cozy...and often we see other friends there..as well...from times past... it is a great spot to enjoy the best of the quiet life and joys of living here in the foothills of Colorado!

Independent, community minded Steakhouse serving Steaks prepared in our in-house butcher shop including dry aged cuts along with Seafood & Spirits!
I gotta say, I was a perfect evening. The drive was good, a great early evening sky. We use to go to this place many years ago, different name, different owner.
We went there for the early menu and it was fantastic. Our steak was wet aged, our salad had a huckleberry balsamic vinegar dressing. We also had the warm bread pudding with the whiskey sauce for dessert. We had a not too expensive bottle wine that was the delicious.
Our waitress was fantastic, cute and very personable. I wish I could remember her name!
As I walked around the restaurant and noticed there was a lot of Bev Dolittle paintings, I love this artist.
I met Dave that night he's the owner and he was wearing a big black hat, he seems to be a great guy.

The two of us stopped here with 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 grandparents. Nice assortment of panini-style sandwiches, some yummy baked goods, and coffee/tea in a chill, dog-friendly setting. They even offered up some dog treats. Perfect for what it was--a quaint, local coffee shop. My wife's Roma panini was good, kids had a nice, toasty grilled cheese, and my reuben was good. Good pit stop after enjoying the morning at the lake.

This is a small bakery shop in scenic downtown Evergreen. They have a selection of fresh baked pastries, breads and cakes. There is a limited drink menu.
The warm glazed doughnut was light and delicious. The cranberry bread was moist and flavorful. The staff are both friendly and helpful. Worth a visit.

We came with my son and grandsons. My husband, son & I each had a cookie ice cream sandwich- delicious!! My grandson had watermelon flavor in a cone- he was thrilled- that's his favorite (for the moment). After getting our treats, we took a relaxing walk along the river. I'm sure we'll go back!!

The food is average - perhaps because they offer so many different items on their menu, nothing is ever that tasty. Most recently, we took our 2 year old outside after he was finished with his meal so we wouldn't disrupt other guests. He was out on the side of the restaurant and was walking around a car examining it's wheels. The waitress/hostess who seat us came out and yelled at him to "not touch anything" and slammed closed the gate nearby. I can't imagine that's the best way to treat paying customers, particularly a little boy who didn't do anything wrong.

Curtis & Kristopher Lincoln welcome you to Willow Creek Restaurant, overlooking Evergreen Lake in beautiful Evergreen, Colorado.Long-time locals, Curtis and Kristopher realized the tremendous need for a restaurant serving fresh, wholesome food while maintaining an awareness of how resources are harvested. They strive to use sustainable seafood, farms and ranches whenever possible. Willow Creek Restaurant has been created with the entire community in mind. Excellent dining brunch, lunch or dinner with a varied European-style menu and a killer view of Evergreen Lake from their patio. Also great when you want to just relax and have a glass( or flight) of wine on the patio especially in the Summer. A little pricey but consistently good.

The Java Groove is a great little coffee shop which features delicious coffee, tasty baked goodies and a nice breakfast and lunch menu.
We tried an Afternoon Groove special of a half sandwich and cup of soup. The Turkey Southwest sandwich and Creamy Potato soup were yummy, and the coffee was very good.
We'll surely go back to Java Groove next time we want good coffee and food in Evergreen.

The Bagelry originally opened in 1995 by a native New Yorker who missed the New York Style Bagel from back East. The grocery store "roll with a hole" was not cutting it. A bagel needs to be hand-crafted, boiled in water, and baked to perfection. Baked fresh every morning, the mountain community of Evergreen embraced the fresh, doughy, and crispy alternative to frozen bagels and The Bagelry became a popular breakfast spot. In 2001, a local couple from Evergreen stopped at the Bagelry on their way up to the mountains to grab their favorite breakfast sandwich. They found out the owner was ready to start a new chapter in her life and if The Bagelry didn't find a new owner soon, it was in threat of closing. They discussed the possibility of buying The Bagelry knowing nothing about making bagels. It was probably crazy, however decided to take a chance. They bought The Bagelry and learned the art of hand-making the boiled then baked tradition of the New York Style Bagel. The Bagelry has continued to be a local hot spot for skiers, snowboarders, and commuters looking for a quick breakfast on their way out of town. It also has two different seating spaces to accommodate both families and groups, as well as those looking for a quiet space to work and use our free Wi-Fi. We would like to thank the Evergreen community for your business and support for the past twenty years. Thank you!
Love the variety of spreads and bagels. Recently tried the Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Maple Walnut Cream Cheese and a Coconut water. Service good, food good.

As mentioned in other reviews, ordering your food is kind of inconvenient. You have to stand in line and the menu is on a chalkboard so if anyone is waiting behind you, you feel like you have to hurry up and order. My grandson wanted the duck, which I shared with him, it was fine. We also had an order of brussel sprouts- I normally don't care for them but I liked the way these were prepared. My husband and son were both pleased with their sandwiches. All in all, the food was good but I don't care for the ordering process.
