Settle in for the night with our inspired eats, eclectic wines and hand-crafted cocktails.... Welcome to BoomTown Woodfire. Relax.... You've arrived
Been there four or five times however the last time was a little off.
Ribs had been good but the last time mediocre. Steak just fair. Ordered medium rare to rare and it was overcooked. Will return however I'm anxious for their new brewery to open in Hobbing.

We came in about 1:45 pm, didn't know they closed at 2 pm. We had the sarmas ......very huge platter, great, but we felt like we needed to leave because of the time. Will try again now that we know their hours.

I had been going to the Whistling Bird for many years and was delighted when they reopened. Lately, however, the quality of the food has gotten worse. What used to taste so fresh is now bland and "canned" and pre-packaged tasting. I realize it is difficult to get fresh produce in the winter months but there's got to be a better alternative to what is being served. Their prices have also gone up a lot - especially for the quality of the food. I don't mind paying $30 for an entree but it better be worth it. Our last visit (with 3 people) cost $120. It was not worth that much money for the meal we had - the steak was tough, the calamari was undercooked and greasy, the jerk chicken was good but a little dry. There is also an issue with consistency. I ordered the rasta pasta(mild) last spring and it was not too spicy. The next time I ordered it medium and it was so hot I couldn't eat it not could anyone else in our party.
I want this place to succeed - this area needs a good restaurant! But, I will think twice about going here again.

Do yourself a favor and go check this place out. Wood fired pizzas, hot sandwiches, everything coffee, smoothies, funky decor and a great atmosphere. Also, I appreciate how family friendly it is. I try to find original places that serve a quality product and this place hits the mark perfectly!

Sampled four of their Italian pastries. They were beyond excellent. I shall be back for more pastries and some of the many varieties of poticas which looked superb. They do ship the potica anywhere in the US.

My husband and I ordered-in to our hotel on our last night of vacation. We'd inquired about good pizza places in the area and Poor Gary's deserves its high marks on Trip Advisor! Great pizza! My husband said the sauce and sausage were especially tasty. The pizza had its own special flavor. So glad we had it delivered our last evening in Virginia, MN!

The Sawmill Saloon has been serving the best food and drinks in the Virginia area for more than 30 years. Over time, we have perfected a consistent approach to customer service that offers our patrons great value for money in a comfortable yet fun atmosphere. Next time you're near Virginia, give us a holler.
Very disappointed that $4.00 vodka drink cost 50 cents more with mix, upset that offered ranch dressing and charged 50 cents more, upset that lobster soup cost $2.00 more for fake lobster. Raise your prices and stop the upcharges.

We were traveling through Virginia and happened upon this quaint place
..we had the "sausage & shroom" and "med red" wood fired pizzas, and our girls split the ham & cheddar ciabatta...all super yummy! Then to top off the deliciousness they have fantastic fresh danishes :) cute place, looked like great beers on tap and live music in the evenings. Wish this was in my neighborhood!!
