Ate here numerous times while spending 3 weeks in Evansville. Amazing young people taking care of orders and sandwich preparation. No horse play, just very friendly youngsters doing it right. That's why we went back numerous times. Store is clean as are the employees. Awesome tuna sandwich my wife's favorite and mine is the ham sandwich. I tried the pizza and it was OK, but a bit disappointing compared to their great sandwiches. We ate in more often than taking it with us as the music was toned down. Other times we have taken the sandwiches elsewhere to eat as the "music" was deafening. I am sure the younger crowd love it, but those of us over 70,not so much.

Wonderful service, great taste and very nice to look at. We ordered items at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us. Very happy with them and would use them again and again.

We drive out to Roman's every now and then just to experience a good, traditional pizza. We have also dined and sampled the lasagna and other fare. Romano's reminds us of the Italian restaurants of the '50's through '70's. Great food and great service!

Mexican or American, breakfast here is a treat, and you'll have enough for tomorrow! Service is always excellent, with special attention to the kids. My granddaughter loves to create her own dish - like strawberry crepes with chocolate chips and whipped cream. My son and I enjoy the Mexican skillet with real chorizo sausage, eggs your way and spicy sauces or guac. Friday night fish is also good.

This is really a great place to get a treat! Yellow cake batter frozen yogurt is amazing! Organic cucumber soda surprising flavor. Very modern build out in an old building. Love it!

Don't expect any fancy atmosphere here, just great drinks and food. I often stop by for lunch and enjoy their daily specials. The menu is somewhat limited but their always daily specials listed. Generally the specials range from $6.50 to $8.50 and are a good deal. On Taco Tuesday you can load up your own hard or soft, chicken or beef taco for $2.00. Yep, a $2 taco that puts Chili's tacos to total shame. Many regulars love the burgers, chicken strips and Friday fish. Check out the boards for listed daily specials. Nights can get crowded and OVERLY noisy with music way too loud in the bar area; so take caution, or stay out of the bar area. On Sundays they have a nice bloody mary bar. If you are in the area and want a reasonable drink or a good meal, stop by. Don't expect any upscale atmosphere. Dive atmosphere can be good too.

We have eaten here several times now. Lunches, dinners and take out. The service is great. The drinks perfect. The chips are crisp and fresh. Love their guacamole. The kitchen is super fast. Had the shrimp salad tonight and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. We love that El Vallarta has opened!!!

We were greeted and treated as regular customers even though it was our first time at this location. The staff were very serious about constructing a great sandwich. Everything was fresh. A very pleasant fast food experience.

Sitting at the foot of Main Street, this restaurant is located in a nondescript storefront with unassuming signage. Inside, the large space has an ambiance that is pleasant, with sculptures, pictures, and comfortable booth seating.
The menu is extensive, geared primarily to take-out. One orders at the counter and the food is later brought to the table. The cuisine is tasty for the most part, but the use of Styrofoam plates and plastic tableware is off-putting. There are lunch specials and the prices are reasonable.

OK alternative to burgers or subs. Meals include chips or baked potato. No brainer to get the baked potato which you can load with various options. Nice bun and numerous dog options. The wiener itself is good Chicago quality but not very substantial. Would like a bigger dog. OK at an alternative but not first choice.
