Loma Linda: I felt the need to share my experience as it is not to be missed when in Mexico City. There are several locations around Mexico City but I am focusing specifically on the location at Plaza Carso in Santa Fe. Plaza Carso, Carlos Slim's gorgeous complex of office buildings, contains various shops, restaurants, an aquarium and a Movie Theater that will appeal to the whole family. Getting back to Loma Linda, you are greeted into an impeccable well-designed venue with a wine and spirit selection that is second to none. The menu is impressive and will suit all carnivores like me with the vast cuts of fresh, cooked to order steaks, appetizers, and desserts. While you can find a good steak just about anywhere in the world, the preparation, cooking, presentation but most of all, taste is what sets Loma Linda apart from the rest. Did I mention that the customer service is exceptional as well? The wait staff is on top of everything with attention at the right moment as though they are psychic. As you sit down, you are offered water, whether still or with gas (carbonated) and are handed the menu. I won't go through every course and procedure so I will jump around a bit. When it comes to ordering your steak, not only do you have the menu, but they roll out the cart of fresh fare for you to choose from, describing every cut along with a proper wine pairing if that is what you select. Dessert is handled in the same manner where you see the vast possibilities and this is where you must loosen that belt and get to it. While traditional in their offer, the taste is to die for. I think you get the message that it is a must visit!

We stopped in on a Monday morning around 930. The beautiful upstairs dining room was almost empty, and the service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The Eggs Benedict were wonderful with the hollandaise sauce cooked just right. The refill coffee was great, too.

My in-laws were visiting so my husband and I took them out to dinner here. Out of the group of four, I'm the only one who does not eat beef/steak. I was still able to enjoy some really yummy food-the lentil soup, ham & cheese empanadas (I eat pork), spinach empanadas, the salmon (my main dish), and the sides (mashed potatoes, french fries, and creamed spinach). The wine and dessert (flan) was also delicious. My in-laws and husband really enjoyed two steaks (rib eye and sirloin). The waiters cooked the steak on the table (in our case, next to table since our table was small). My husband got two medium sized steaks and we had half a steak left over. So be aware of the size. We will return here when I have some more steak eating visitors.

Well known steak and seafood restaurant in the heart of Polanco. There are English menus available but a litter Spanish necessary to communicate with staff.The chorizo looked rather anemic and didn't have much taste. Tuna steak was fine although I much prefer it to sliced more thinly rather two huge chunks on the hot plate. Vegetables a bit dehydrated.For what I paid, I didn't think the value for money was there. I would suggest trying another place.

As we were looking for one of my favorite Peruvian restaurant, we found out it was being remodeled, so we very close by and my co workers choose el Cambalache.You have good and safe parking in one of Polancoâs main streets, the restaurant is very easy to get to it.Service is very good since you come in.We had a few cuts, the meat was great but also had some local appetizers.We were able to have different type of beers.The restaurant is very nice, they have wifi, good and clean bathrooms.You take due to the location any Uber or taxi very easily.
