A cosy place in the countryside: it is a well renovated old mansion with a modern yet sobre interior. There must be around 25 seats only and so the ambiance is quite intimate. Choice of three entrees, two mains and two desserts on the board, a good sign of fresh products. The foie gras (home made) was excellent. Then we had the tuna served with vegetables, and it was succulent. Perfectly cooked outside and red inside. Good desserts, we tried both the mille feuilles and the apple tart. Interesting wines list from small producers. Definitely need to go back to sample more... A great meal with a good service.

My husband and I stayed at Villabona for one night on June 5, 2018. We chose it because it was close to Orly Airport in Paris and because we saw the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. We did not want to stay in a chain hotel at the airport, but wanted a nice French experience for our last night abroad. We had been traveling in Spain and had to stay one night near Orly Airport to manage the time of our flight back to the USA the next day. We had a wonderful stay and a very memorable experience meeting the owner, Marite Michaud. The room was spotless and very cosy. The bed was wonderful and king size. The bathroom was very large with both a bathtub and a walk in shower. Breakfast was lovely - oh, how we love French bread and croissants in the morning! Marite's homemade jams were the best! Marite was kind enough to recommend a terrific French restaurant nearby and we had a great dinner for our last evening. A great choice if you have to be in the Orly area. Getting into Paris is also easy as the train is nearby. If we return to Paris, we will stay here again and the price is right to be so close to Paris. We met some other guests staying at Villabona as they were on business trips. I think there are only 3 or 4 rooms. We chose "Le Outre Chambre." Marite is a wonderful and friendly host - she went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Overall, it is a decent and functional place to stay for a stopover in a holiday journey, that I would recommend. If you are sensitive to noise, don’t forget to bring your earplugs. Highlights: - Great location: very close to highway - Functional bedroom and shower - Decent breakfast for the price Not so good: - Bathroom: the shower curtains don’t close properly so the bathroom is easily wet - Noisy: as it’s located next to Paris-Orly airport, you can hear the airplanes passing just above the hotel in order to land

Delightful chateau - perhaps a trifle dowdy, maybe a little run down but nevertheless perfectly acceptable. The bedrooms are good, the facilities and adequate and the breeakfast, which should be eaten on the terrace if weather permits, is excellent. The host are generous and accomodating and the small town of Saint-Cyr-sous-Dourdan is a few moments away by car. There you will find cafes, ancient ruins and a myriad of little shops to keep you entertained. Recommend the pizza restaurant which may seem a little abstract in France but the staff and the food are excellent. Sitting in the outside shelter on long trestle tables with the children running around is wondcerfully relaxing. And the pizzas were good as well.

Located at 5' of the A6 Highway and at 15' of Orly International Airport, we are far enough not to be disturb by modern noises. We will welcome you in a business and familial atmosphere in our renovated hotel.
Actually there is nothing really to fault about the hotel or its staff. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area albeit on a busy road. Althoug the sound proofing is adequate for the street noise it is quite bad on the inside. Late arrivals, opening and closing doors, flushing toilets all of this can be heard in the room quite clearly. Our group had dinner once in the restaurant and although it was ok thereis nothing notable to mention. I can recommend this hotel for short stopover.

We stayed two nights here, however I would have liked to stay longer. The atmosphere was so relaxing, our host most welcoming and breakfast was delicious. My husband and I arrived later at night than initially planned, and we had forgotten to say that we had our baby with us. As soon as our host (sorry I’ve forgotten her name!) saw the baby, she provided a baby bed, diaper changing mat and extra towels. She also offered us a room with a bathtub so we could bath the baby. She was so kind and caring, she really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Although this is my first tripadvisor review, I’ve stayed at many hotels and BnB’s throughout Europe and North America. This one is really at the top of my list.

Our guest house is an 18th century family home. My child husband came to spend his holidays at his grandmother's. A few years ago we took over this house, made big jobs and opened four rooms. We will be happy to welcome you there. You will find calm and greenery. See you soon
We stayed at the chateau for 2 nights during the Ryder Cup and were so happy we found such a charming place to stay. From our first e-mail contact with Nathalie to the warm welcome at her house, we were more than happy that we've chosen this place over a hotel. We had Chambre d'Edmond, one of 4 rooms that the house is offering on the first floor. It was very spacious with a very comfortable bed, view to the (very quiet!) street and courtyard, a lovely modern bathroom with shower/bath tub, a tiny separate toilet and lots of storage for clothes and bags. We felt really at home here. The breakfast that we had in the salon on the ground floor was delicious. A warm croissant, homemade jam and honey, fresh coffee and orange juice, fruit and some yoghurt were more than we could have asked for. Nathalie was also nice enough to prepare some bread, juice and fruit for us on the other day when we had to leave our room early to attend the golf event. The park like garden at the back of the house is great if you want to relax in the morning or afternoon and the house is perfectly situated for any kind of trips. We went to visit the Palace of Versailles and it only took us about 30 minutes to drive there.
