Read about this place and decided to stop by during a bike trip. Place is really nice old traditional Finnish coffee place. Some snacks and pastries and coffee and drinks. During lunch time they also serve some lunch menu. However, would maybe have expected a bit more based on the reviews.

They always selves buffee, that has good atarters and average Main course (I have been there tens of times). ~50€ for lunch buffee plus beverages is way too much for it...MoreHi Markus! Off the lakeside road, by the parking/playarea/sauna where walking trails start. Just a tiny cafe with the loveliest lady who served hot tea and scrumtious cinnamon buns for only 1EURO each!! Compared with other cafe prices it was amazing value and when we enquired about how cheap the tea and buns were she said 'I want families to come here - I have children as well, I didn't want it to be Helsinki prices' Plus as she was locking up she presented us with the remaining buns from the cafe (5 of them) and didn't want us to pay for them! She had only been open for 2 weeks. We wish here well....
This place offers a nice environment for four season outdoor training. Summertime good and wide walking, running tracks different length. Winter time cross country skiing. There are couple fire places open for all. You can reserve a sauna if wanted at Pirttimäki. And the Cafe....if you can imagine situation that you have been few hours outside doing staff things and then you sense a fresh coffee breeze with just baked bun...well ...you have experience this for yourself =)

Nice restaurant, good location near by Tapiola center, easy to park. Restaurant itself is not decorated instead the setup is even bit cold. However the service is friendly and very fast. The sushi menu is excellent and extensive. They also serve pho soup and sushi in many varieties. The sushi is fresh and nice. Makis are bit small. I will visit definitely again.

Had a family lunch with nepalese Thamel take-away. The service was quick, 15 minutes to get the meals ready although one was not the one ordered (one number mistake), but we got the correct one even quicker. The food was delicious, including basmati rice and Nan bread, as well as some mango dessert. Will definitely do again.

Reading many positive feedbacks about this restaurant I finally visited it during the lunch time. Buffet lunch including pappadoms with sauces were normally good. Naans far away from authentic naans. Chicken in sauce was tasteless without any rich flavour, too much water. Meatballs were more like Italian ones. Spinach with cheese was ok. Small place not worth of visiting at all. Please visit nearby the Mount Nepal and you'll get much better food wit lots of character.

We came here for lunch after some time. The building and the settings are really nice, and the food offering good in a sense there is also a vegetarian choice. However somehow I was disappointed- yes it was good, but nothing special.
