This is likely the busiest pizzeria in Eslov. They have a nice clean dining area and the food is always well prepared. But best of all, the people who run the place are very kind and service minded. My personal preference is the kabobs (Kebabs) although the pizza is good as well. They have Delivery, but because of the popularity of this place you should expect to have a bit of a wait for you Delivery to arrive. What keeps me from giving Viking 5 stars, is that it does not serve beer or wine. If it did we'd eat there more often. However, I respect the owners decision to not serve alcohol.

The castle at Trollenäs occasionally offers tours. Last Sunday, they advertised three tours on Sunday afternoon - 12, 1 and 2 and that you should buy your tickets at least 15 minutes before the tour in the café. I arrived at 11.30 to find a very long line at the café and that all the tickets for all three tours were sold out. I and many others were disappointed. I'm not sure why they did not take Reservations or sell tickets in advance.
So, as it was lunch time, I had a piece of quiche (paj in Swedish). It was ok and was served with a small amount of salad but was not worth the price of 85 SEK. One can get a nice lunch with a lot more for and coffee for that in town.
We have had coffee and cake there in the past and they do have a nice place to sit outside in the park grounds of the castle.

We chose this location for my mother-in-law's 95th birthday party. As we were a group and chose our own menu, I can't speak for the usual operation of the restaurant or menu. We were 23 adults and 5 children. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and the vegetarians were also satisfied. The service was good and the location very cozy.

There is many dishes to sample, it's extremely fresh and not boring like most popular buffets.
Yes, there's the ordinary "SweChines" dishes, but they are cooked better and there's always a 3-4 dishes that I love that have more sting to them.
If you are in the neighbourhood go there for the lunch buffet.
If you have children they'll love it since they have a icecream machine.
If later in the evening, try the spicy basil chicken or whatever meat you like.

First, remember this is ESLOV not Stockholm. With that in mind, it's "very good" Thai food. They have a buffet, but we stayed away from that and ordered from the menu. The duck dished were very good as the Pud Thai. Service was very good and our wait person was very helpful.

If I was eating the food alone this would make a solid 3. It was good but lacked a little impact with the lack of spices.
But this place shouldn't be visited for the food alone. It's a working farm and the shop sells only the farm's own produce. They also make at least eight different types of jam, several apple drinks and some interesting pickled things that I didn't look that closely at. All in a beautiful clean environment where the focus is on the goods and not excessive decorations. Clean, simple and tasteful with wooden containers for potatoes, basket containers for the apples and hand written labels. Lovely!
Me and the hubby both had the burger which, as stated above, was good (home made bun was very good) but the burger and the meat lacked a little flavour. Good nevertheless but not great.
Our son had the pancakes with home made (I'll just stop saying everything is homemade - you get the idea) raspberry jam. For dessert I had Pelargonium (unsure about that word - I mean the flower) cake which was delish!
After that we went outside and picked some raspberries in the field. One small box cost 25 kronor so not bad.
All in all, I am very happy we went for this place. Although the food was a little pricier than I thought it was a great experience coming here!
Do try and go there on a sunny day. Picking raspberries in the rain and mud wasn't pleasant, but that's not the fault of this lovely little place.

Rekommenderas! Blir definitivt fler gånger. Bra MC fika
