Just 10km outside of Swakopmund we are selling our fresh & locally produced vegetables, flowers and our very own olive oil. At our beautiful bistro we offer artisan coffee and cakes, as well as our delicious brunch buffet on Saturdays from 9-14.
Having visited this venue with family and friends iover the past gee years, it was a huge disappointment with a recent visie. Not only were the food price exorbitant, but the kitchen was extremely slow,no effort was made to put up sun umbrellas unless requested to. The garden was unkempt, the weedy grass patches dangerous, there was no fly control. All the guest were so disappointed and indicated not to support them in future.
Café 44s Restaurant - your coffeeshop and restaurant in the heart of town in Swakopmund, Namibia when you want to find atmosphere, locals, european flair and good, aromatic coffee brewed by hand.
Visited Walvis Bay for a day and needed a good cup of coffee and good wifi (to escape the extortionate charges on the cruise ship I was on). Had iced coffees - excellent. Then a red velvet cake. Charming service from the staff. Fluent English and German. Great way to pass a bit of time, watch the world go by and catch up on correspondence. If their food is as good as the coffee and cake then then should be tried too.
Just wanted to have a hot chocolate and a Cappuccino. No hot chocolate for the kid for some reason. The Cappuccino was pricey and ok. Mostly empty shelves and it looked like the place cannot afford stock anymore (although part of the very good Strand Hotel with its three outstanding restaurants). The area behind the counter was simply very filthy including half broken shelf-doors. The outside terrace (close to the Museum) was closed and dirty as well. The staff (two ladies) were not able to speak a minimum in English!

Simple little place for a simple bite. Good price, decent service, decent food. Location a bit hidden but thus quiet.

Its a great place for kids with the awesome playground. Service tends to be a tad slow and food really is average... Nothing to complain about as such.... It's average with average service and average food. I will go back, I always do.. Maybe just spice things up bit.. Upgrade the menu or not... No stress...

While what seemed to be the owner was around, the staff was quick to get our food, serve our table and clean up. Once she left the scene, we couldn't get anyone's attention. We had to stand in line for nearly 10 minutes to pay our bill with no one tending the till but two workers on their cell phone behind the counter or hiding in the stairway. The owner showed up again and that is when, finally, we were able to pay the bill. Great food, service lacking
Inside and outside seating in a quaint garden setting. Gluten Free options. Vegetarian options. Kiddies menu. Best Cupcakes in town. Children's play area available. Free parking. Close to the beach. Take away's available. Lunch menu changes daily. Awesome

A gourmet coffee-bar and bistro shrouded in natural luxury. Calling on you to relax. To take a moment. To make the most of that moment! Two Beards and a Saint is the bistro component of Two Beards Coffee (same premises), an artisan speciality coffee roast
I loved the variety of coffees and tried two. The cherry one was my favourite. The breakfasts were a great size and everyoneâs options looked delicious. You simply canât match the scrumptious lemon meringue and carrot cake â¤ï¸So glad you enjoyed your time with us! See you again soon for something different yet again!

Just arrived in Swakopmund after a long drive from the north, my 7 year old daughter and I were tired and hungry. We came upon Cordes & Co - thrilled that at 2:30 in the afternoon they were still serving lunch and the still full tables were testament to the popularity. The service was very good; the bright, airy atmosphere very welcoming. And our food - chicken schnitzel and a chicken and avocado quesadilla - was delicious.
