I am not sure what has happened to the hotels but it's no longer in good condition. I had to reject about 3 rooms before I finally got a manageable room. For the top floors water availability was an issue, the generator went off about 4 times in two days, rooms have odours, towels are no longer white. I had to call for me rest room to be cleaned and sanitized before I settled in. Not the best hotel for the amount.

Horrible stay. Sorry GV staff, but you need to step your game up. The bed was like laying in a coffin. It had absolutely no give. It took the entire New Haven IT neighborhood experts to figure out how to charge my phone. There was only one towel in the restroom and I had to use a bucket and bowl to take a shower (how convenient). I didn't know I had to turn on the wall switch to the heater the night before in order to bathe with warm water. The TV is controlled by wall switch and 12 out of the 33 channels worked and the fridge was empty. Not cool. Not cool at all. Maybe this will help, maybe you'll see it as complaint, but I see room for investing in some upgrades

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The first room I check in, there was no hot water. The bathroom door was broken. I was taken to a second room. No hot water and that shower was leaking, so when I turned on the shower, the entire bathroom floor flooded. Then, one of the electrical charges in the room was too hot, so it burned my power strip. I was taken to a third room. The third room again had no hot water and carpet stains. The porters are not friendly and unprofessional which added to the whole unpleasant experience. When I walked into the restaurant, there was a brouhaha going on at the entrance. A guest was arguing with some of the hotels workers. I don't know what the dispute was about but it was quite heated. These sorts of things leave a very bad impression. The sales manager is a cool guy (the saving grace) and he was very apologetic. Apparently, the entire hotel was having hot water issues and the management was bringing buckets of hot water to the guest rooms. Buckets to take a bath with! The restaurant food was decent. Some of the receptionists are nice. I know someone else who also had a terrible experience at this hotel last year, described it as a nightmare, actually and vowed to never lodge there again. I ended up checking out early because of the hot water issue, so I signed a form to get a refund since I paid in advance for 2 nights. I was told I would receive the refund the following week. I did not receive it. I'm still chasing down the refund. It's pathetic.

Stayed here whilst In Enugu after original hotel (nearby) was not fit for purpose.the Bayview is a real gem in Enugu, excellently managed by Mr Moses, really helpful receptionists (Juliet & Riska), and all the other staff I dealt with just as professional. Clean, wifi, shower, AC all work, with small mall opposite to buy necessities, and if you titre of hotel restaurant, good restaurant called Shara virtually next door. Thoroughly recommended.

Food: Food there is excellent if a tard bit expensive. They do good yam and stew for breakfast. Their local soup is to die for and the quantity as well as presentation is good. RECEPTION STAFF: Since my last visit there staff at the reception seem more engaged and helpful. Clare and her team are doing a great job, interactive with customers. I single out Ebuka and one other young man for being quite excellent. HOUSEKEEPING: My room was good although l have to say that sometimes l came back from where .ever l went to a room still not done. It looks like they need more than one chamber maid on the floor l was at. Oluchi was good and polite. My only reservation is that when doing the rooms, the chambermaids should just not tidy away a guest's property and concentrate on tyding the room. My other bug bear is staff chatting loudly on the floor so much so that you hear them. Apart from that the hotel is a place to really rest. SECURITY: The staff at the gate were very professional. There was a particular young man who seemed happy in his job and was always polite whenever l passed by. I felt safe in the hotel. TV: There should be more channels in the room. I was able to view just two news channels and one local channel. I would have liked more local channels to choose from. GYM: I used the gym quite a bit. There were some equipments l could not use because the weights left on them were just too heavy. Secondly, the gym could do with mats although l understand with the pandemic you don't want to be sharing mats. BATHROOM: Closer attension should be paid to the bathroom. Perhaps install hand grab rails in the bath and make sure the bathroom floor is actually thorougly washed to avoid slipping. On a few occassion, the floor was slippery. BED: I have stayed in comparable hotels in Enugu and this is the first time l encountered a rock hard mattress. It took my body two weeks to adjust to the hardness and had to place the duvet on top to get any sleep. I know it's supposed to be orthopedic but this was something else. Finally, the staircase hand rails need urgent attension before a guest falls and injure themselves. The hotel will pay dearly if that happens , reputationally and financially. Generally speaking, keep working on good customer care, pool side/bar/gym staff need to work on this

I have not been to Nigeria for 5 years, I was really skeptical about the hotel I will stay at and what the amenities and customer service will be. My cousin booked this Hotel Psamls Hotel. I was so pleased with the the hotel, every thing was more than my expectations. The only thing they need to get in other is their Fitness center.

This place has all the bells and whistles but no sound. It’s just a facade. I lodged here in the King Executive suite. Bedding changed twice because of blood stains in the mattress cover and duvet that are hidden by the sheets. Carpets had black ink spots all over and drink stains. Beautiful white leather chair was dirty. Urine stains on the bedroom toilet. I had the wipe everything down of course because of COVID but it didn’t look clean. Bathroom sink had mildew. Shower pressure was poor. The walls had lots of dirt stains and holes. No WiFi because it was unstable and inoperable. The reception didn’t even give me a password. The bed was like a rock. If I wanted to sleep on the floor, I could have stayed somewhere else and paid much less. What a waste of money! Poor management. I feel sorry for the owners who have poured in so much money. They only get 1 star because of the decor. The service was very poor as well. Lovely but leave it!!

This is a hotel situate in a quiet area in Independence Layout Enugu; so if you are looking for where to relax after a hard days work, you can choose this hotel. What i do not like is that the rooms are sparsely furnished, there is no complimentary coffee or tea or water in the rooms and annoyingly there are no electric sockets (where you can charge your fones) near the bed.

Choose between the 3 class of rooms- Deluxe, Executive deluxe and Fidelma suites different colors and different moods to cater for different likes as for non-smoking rooms if you so desire flat screen television and fast internet access.
We stayed in Enugu for one night and enjoyed the hospitality of the Fidelma. The hotel is lovely and clean. The rooms are spacious. The staff and management has been extremely helpful. We can truly recommend it.

I spent four nights in this hotel which is located in the centre of the Independence Layout a short distance from the Enugu shopping mall( Spar).Friendly reception and observed quick check-in based on room reservation and also noticed the neatness of the hotel which was consistent throughout my stay. First floor room stay was comfortable with airconditioning, multi- channel cable TV and Wifi; though data was rationed. Room service was prompt and national cuisine i sampled was fine. There was no gym facility at the hotel and also no elevator for higher floors. Free ample car packing space is available with reasonable security. A small swimming pool is located by the outdoor bar where barbacue fish/ meat is served. A members only 2nite Klub is also within the premises, including a barbing salon and a fashion boutique. The main hotel has a small banquet hall, left of the reception lobby and a small restaurant that can hosts a limited number of guests.Good value for money spent.
