Enjoyed a good lunch at Mariscos while visiting the dusty town of San Quintin the other day. The food was fresh, the restaurant was clean and the service was great. It's good local food with very fair prices that satisfy the need in this area. Many eating establishments don't offer a clean seating area, but rather just a hut with outdoor stools and sometimes a table. this place is a huge step above with easy road access on the main road.
We were driving g through on our way to The Sea of Cortez and stopped when we saw the giant fish taco sign. The staff was very welcoming. You can see the kitchen and the fresh fish coming in and the men preparing it. My husband and I ordered the fish tacos they wer excellent and a little abuella comped us Ceviche. Both were delicious and clean. We didnât get sick which is always a worry when traveling. The seafood cocktail also looked amazing. I wish I took pictures but ate my food to fast. Check them out!
A small fish taco shop just north of the City Park of Cardenas. Cooked fresh right in front of you. Generous portions of fish and all the fixin's you desire to top it with. Extremely reasonable prices. Not a comfy pace to sit and visit, but the purpose is to enjoy good tacos, and that is what they provide. Buy the tacos, then walk to the park to enjoy.

Since 1998, Don Eddie's on the Bay has been serving great food to not only our hotel guests, but travelers going up and down the Baja. For breakfast, our crab and shrimp omelet is the best in the area. We also have other great choices, too. For supper, ou
I found this place totally by accident 40 or so years ago. It is by the Molino viejo hotel on the San Quintin Bay. It offers very good value for the money and the food is very, very, good. I would recommend it highly. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Based on the other reviews, we decided to give Muelle 30 a try. The atmosphere is cheerful, clean and whimsical. A delicious complimentary appetizer made with calamar and veggies in a creamy, chile sauce went well with light chips, not the usual heavy lard fried tortillas. The Fish Veracruzano style made with Corvina was fresh in a light tomato based sauce served with vegetables, rice and salad. Anibal, the owner takes pride in the food and presentation which is why his restaurant is still popular with locals after 7 years. We'll make this a regular stop on our trips between US to La Paz.

On our way to Guerrero Negro, we stopped over for the night in San Quintin and the hotel clerk suggested that we go to the Old Mill Restaurant Bar (OMRB) for a light afternoon snack. We accidentally stumbled into the Old Mill Hotel, not be confused with the OMRB which is separate from the Old Mill Hotel, but next door. As we wonder around the area, the Old Mill Hotel, has their own restaurant, Euscalipto but is only open for dinner. We came back that evening, on recommendations from a group of Fly Samaritans who volunteer at the local clinic and stay on a regular basis at the OMH. We joined up with this noble group and had a wonderful dinner in what is a very small but intimate dining area with a nice warm fireplace. Special of the night was grilled halibut with veggies at a very affordable price of $14.Great food, great company of Fly Samaritans...Highly recommend this restaurant, as Javier is not only the Chef but the Hotel owner and room rates are pretty reasonable. Plan to stay at the hotel next year and have a fabulous gourmet meal...on our way down to see the whales.

Staying at hotel next door and tired. Needed sustenance after traveling. This restaurant was solid, clean, well priced, friendly and good food. Just ask the staff for your preference of how you like your food and they accommodate your tastes. Food is terrific and delicious. We can't say enough of this establishment. Enjoy your rest next door and satisfy your hunger here. Have your camera ready and take pictures of the grounds.

I've been eating at The Old Mill for years when visiting the San Quintin Valley. During my most recent visit the menu was still solid, the service decent, but the food but write up to par. My steak was overcooked, and the sides were so-so. The restaurant was very busy so perhaps that affected the kitchen a bit. I still recommends The Old Mill for dinner, and the seeing can't be best...especially in the evening. Give it a try.
