PRO'S: This is a wonderful jewel of a restaurant in Ennis Montana. The short compact winelist is well-thought out, great value and there is a good wine for each menu dish. We had several dishes and all rate an excellent. Our server was very professional and attentive.
CON'S: None, and I'm very picky.
SUMMARY: If your in the area this is a wonderful choice for fine food and excellent wines to accompany the meal.

The coffee here is much better than any of the major coffee shops found in yuppyville The local shop is outstanding. Their egg sandwiches with sausage have a different flavor than I have ever tasted anywhere else. There is a sauce in the background and...MoreThank you for coming into Maples Coffee. Please stop in again whenever you are in the area!

Had a very good salad, the grilled chicken sesame salad with a good sesame dressing. After enjoying my salad very much along with the dressing, I realized my salad didn't actually have any sesame seeds in it. Maybe they forgot that part in the kitchen. Was with 2 girlfriends and they also enjoyed their meals very much. We have eaten here many times and always have had a good meal.

Drive through espresso and breakfast items
On the Fly is a cute little coffee hut in Ennis. I love stopping by for a latte and one of their homemade chorizo and black bean breakfast burritos. At just three dollars, they are the perfect size breakfast for me. Always fresh and so so yummy. Be sure to bring your own coffee mug too, as all drinks (I think) are just $2 if you bring your mug.

We felt like a light lunch so decided to try out Nacho Mama's for a Mexican meal.
The inside was bright , airy and the person making the food was friendly and very nice. My husband ordered the specialty nachos and we really enjoyed them. Lots of chips, cheese, meat and everything that makes nachos a fun food to eat when your out to have fun or on vacation.
The place is small, only a few tables, but the ambiance makes you want to stay and enjoy the food and company.
I checked out the restroom to wash up after a delicious snack. The bathrooms are kind of small so a person in a wheelchair might have a challenge getting inside and moving around. But it was clean and well maintained.
You definitely need to check out Nacho Mama's when you visit Virginia City.

The reviews seemed to be all over the place on this establishment, and we are not burger people, but what the heck let's try it anyway. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our "well behaved" dog was allowed to sit with us on the outdoor patio. We had the blackened chicken and the blackened catfish sandwiches. Both were excellent, and the side salad was really well done. Music was present but not overwhelming, and the service was excellent.

Step into a time machine for a taste of old-fashioned, homey comfort food and relaxed, friendly hospitality.
Our grandchildren were welcomed and offered crayons and coloring mats. The menu included mini corn dogs for them, all-day breakfast for some of us, and lovely sandwich plated for the other adults, along with excellent home-made soup of the day (cream of broccoli that day).
Our waitress kept our coffee cups full, provided extra glasses for the kids to split milkshakes, and chatted pleasantly while managing a really large station.
Since the restaurant adjoins a little drug store that caters to tourists, we delighted the children with helium balloons as a post-brunch treat.

Although there were only 2 servers who were all bussing and running the register, they checked on us regularly as we waited for our meal. I explored by trying a Pork Belly Sandwich on a ciabatta roll. The pork was crispy on the edges and reminded me of pork rinds but it tasted more like a seasoned pork. The pepperata sauce on it was out of this world. I don't like peppers and I picked most of them off and left the sautéed onions. Once I had a bite and it was sweet and tender with no pepper taste I put them all back on. The fries were home cut and nice and crisp. My husband had at Turkey sandwich with bacon and cheese and it was so big he brought half of it home. The orders take a while to come out as they are each cooked to order and the food was worth the wait.

we have eaten there before and didn't like it ..thought we would give it anther chance..only 1 other table with people there..the waitress kept asking these other people if everything was good...did they want desert...anything else she could get for them...took me 5 minutes just to get her attention ,so I could get a napkin and we were sitting right behind these other people, she wouldn't even look our way...never asked us how our food was ...did we need anything, was very disappointed in the service...my husbands hamburger was raw,my patty melt had no taste to it,we hardly ate any of our food...maybe that was why the waitress didn't want to bother with us,she saw that our food had hardly been touched ,plus we hadn't ordered an expensive meal like the other table did, definitely the last time we will eat there !
