We recently moved to the area and was happy to be informed of a award winning fish shop just round the corner. The place does not fail to impress, reasonable prices always a que but worth waiting for. I highly recommend and will not go for a fish supper anywhere but here now

We were looking forward to this chipie after not visiting cleethorpes for about 6years always liked it before but disappointed with it now ,we arrived about noon and ordered fish and chips x2 the tables were full so we walked down the prom and sat on a bench we were shocked how poor the fish was it was obviously reheated from the day before the batter was rock hard and the tiny amount of fish very dry and tasteless what a shame as we were looking forward to this, won't be back.

Access is limited to help for wheelchair users, as there is a high step. Access to the dining area is of the takeaway area. Wheelchair accessible seating. Clean dining area, friendly helpful staff. This is a typical English fish and chip restaurant and takeaway. You have the choice of a number of starters and desserts. Main course is dominated by fish, you have a choice of fish in haddock and cod. Lovely sausage and chips plus other option for small eaters and children. Not forgetting a good portion of mushy peas. Worth a visit or if in a rush grab a takeaway.

16 months since we last visited FairfieldOrdered the jumbo haddock with peasWow, two fantastic moist pieces of fish enrobed in crisp golden batter. It was a pleasure to sit in their garden in the sun to have our lunch.Must get to Grimsby more often.

Great chippy with excellent haddock and an owner who really knows his fish. He won't use frozen and prefers haddock from the Faroes! Freshly cooked and generously gave us extra sausages and chips with our order! Great bloke and great fish and chips.

Itâs been a few years since we last called in to treat ourselves, to what we were hoping would be as good as we remembered.Absolutely first class! Whist this restaurant and takeaway is not categorically what you would regard as fine dining you cannot fault the quality of their fish and chips, with bread and butter, washed down with a pot of tea!The menu is limited but there are a few options that should suit most people. If you are looking for a traditional Fish and Chip style restaurant that is reasonably priced then look no further. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

The actual meal was okay, fish n chips, fish tasted slightly metallic but edible, the service from the young girl waitressing and taking orders was outstanding, listened to the actual orders, read them back to ensure it was correct, gave straight answers to questions, polite and efficient loverly smile and pleasant person all around, I'm Savoy-trained and as a qualified silver service waiter I would employ her at the drop of a hat, I wish her well in everything she does, and the restaurant is very lucky to have her. Its worth a trip just to be served by her.

Family Run, Traditional English Fish and Chip Shop serving only the best ingredients and offering gluten free options everyday run by Dave & Kully who have 15 years experience in this trade.
As a born and bred Grimberian living on Wybers, Wybers chippy was always the place to go for fish and chips. But no longer. On New Years Eve Wybers was closed and the only chippy open was Littlefield Lane. Off we went expecting the worse, but I ended up having the best piece of haddock ever (i'm 47 and have had fish and chips for most weeks of my life). Thinking it was a pure fluke I returned tonight to get an even better piece of fish. That fish was as white as snow, freshly cooked to order and covered in a delicious batter. The owners are also a couple of the nicest shop owners i've ever encountered. Sorry Wybers but Littlefield Lane is the place to beat!
