Thinking of somewhere to eat we realised that we had not been to Il Vino for a while. The set menu offers a good choice and given the quality of the dishes represents extremely good value for money. Good service. Return will be sooner than on this occasion.

I was at prezzo last night (friday 23th) and ordered a pasta with blue cheese by accident. I hate blue cheese but they use a different name for it. Anyway, I didn't complain because it wasn't their fault. The manager was very kind and changed my pasta anyway and didn't charge anything extra for it.I don't know her name but I really appreciated the gesture.I'm definitely coming back to this branch.

Last night I had a pizza with a friend and asked for some chilli oil. It arrived in a small bowl with a spoon rather than a bottle and spout. The pizza was good, but the bill included a charge of £1 for chilli oil. I have NEVER been charged for chilli oil in any other restaurant. There was no charge for the extra parmesan my friend had.Just seemed so unnecessary and left a bad taste at the end of the meal.Dear Ian, thanks for your feedback. Sorry you feel you left with a bad taste in your mouth. Please allow me to explain that we buy fresh chillies, then olive oil goes in it to add flavour. The extra fresh chilli pot is a side or an item extra requested by the customer.

Firstly this review is 100% genuine and just my opinion.I have recently dined here with friends and I was not very impressed with the restaurant.I found the restaurant decor to be very basic and lack lustre .....no table cloths basic decor and just lacked any sophistication. The pizza I had was a Calzone and it just was not very good with mincemeat and lacked flavour.Personally I would currently not return .Apologies if this offends but it is my own opinion and I have dined in many many Italian restaurants and perhaps this will help improve your current business.

Our dentist is very near this pub / restaurant, so my wife and I have enjoyed a meal or drink here several times now and our visit this week was no exception. We had lunch here and it was very good. The service has always been very friendly and good. There is parking around the back (albeit the parking entrance and exit can be something of a 'challenge'...)Our experience of the food has never been disappointing, so we happily re-visit'...
