Five dishes ordered ...for five people....all different but all cooked in masala red sauce, spoiled my madras,,,and three others food . Got one right though..Been tidied up inside but food overall disappointing....won't go back waiter can't be bothered to listen to what people order...increased in price also...there are three other Indian restaurants that are far better than this place...it's a shame as it held its own under the previous people.
Excellent food, service and value. We have been using this place for years and even travel back now to get a takeaway. Wouldn't get an Indian takeaway from anywhere else.

Set in a charming Georgian building in Clifton, Rajpoot is one of Bristol's finest Indian restaurants. Set over two levels, the interior is equally traditional - complete with crisp linen tablecloths, silver cutlery and huge windows overlooking the Downs.
As a first time diner here, I thought I'd play it safe and order a medium curry, however, it was bland, only just warm enough not to send back and uninspiring. The chicken did not taste or look as if it had been cooked in the clay oven as stated on the menu and lacked flavour and the sauces were quite runny. Presentation was not great and neither was the service; nobody offered to take our coats on arrival and we had to put them over the backs of our chairs that were already squeezed up against the wall down one side of the table. After the mains were served, it became evident that one of our group had been forgotten - we all waited for a while but he insisted that we forge ahead before our food got cold. Luckily he is a fast eater and was able to catch up but the delay should not have occurred in the first place. The peshwari naan bread was very good and was served nice and warm. The surroundings are pleasant enough although lower lighting would create more ambience. I wouldn't rush back.

A fine dine Indian Bar & Restaurant in Norbury, South London, under new management of Gopal Patel and Chef Jatin Nehra. We constantly creating new dishes and working with fresh new ingredients. Chef Nehra says "I have high levels of ethics to ensure veget
this is a brightly lit quite big restaurant in south Streatham/norbury. its probably not a "datenight" venue unless you both enjoy really good curries. But for good indian food it would be hard to beat. the curries are amazing and try the chicken wings to start as they come in a really rich tasty sauce . Service is quick and friendly and the chef even appeared at the end of our meal to ask diners if they were happy with their food. This has become our "go to " indian restaurant.

âExpect the Unexpectedâ ... just donât expect the 10% discount offered for take away collection, unless you ask (see menu front for details). The food is excellent, so a small sting in the tail; however, there are numerous other Indian restaurants in Ashbourne ... that said, we will likely still attend but make sure to request discount on collection ... yet to try delivery. Will keep you posted. If the lack of advertised discount happens again ...

Visited here on a saturday evening and found the food and service top notch couldnt be faulted also as nice touch there was a magician wandering around the tables providing entertainment but for some reason he never made it to our table which was little dissapointing.the only downside to this restaurant are the high prices and the fact that 10% service charge is added to the bill which may be normal in some areas but just annoys me as i always tip but dont like to be forced to do so.
