Things to do in Abingdon
Just had a takeaway from Azeem, have to say itâs one of the best Indian meals Iâve had. Many people phone and complain when the food isnât good which is defo the right thing to do, but in this case case I phoned and complimented them on our meals.

I've tried Indian food for the first time in this restaurant and i totally loved it!!! The tandoori chicken was fenomenal, like also the mango marmelade as appetizer. Approved!!!

Local reports of a major fire appears to have closed the restaurant until further notice. So unable to enter fro lunch.Large number of Emergency Services in attendance.A major incident apparently.A nice restaurant with a cat and interesting choice of meals.Car parking opposite in the car park.Buses to Oxford from just outside.Close to Park Road Abingdon School and 5 minutes walk from town centre

We were really impressed with our take away from Prince of India. Arrived within the specified timeframe. We had a spinach and chickpea starter, a lamb pasanda, a chicken korma, egg fried rice, onion bhajis and paratha bread. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasty. The meats were tender and the curries had plenty of sauce to dip the tasty paratha bread into. Very very nice takeaway.

We had a table for 5 on a Tuesday night, all the food was to a good standard and decent portions. There are several house special selections which Iâd recommend. The best thing was the service from the staff though, very friendly and helpful, happy to stay open late until we were ready to leave.

After a long hard day drinking and pillaging on the river, a curry was the only thing that was going to satisfy our desires....Dil Raj were absolutely brilliant, the staff were accommodating and pleasant. Service was prompt and friendly, and food was second to none. Chicken Pathia was mind blowing - totally delicious and really hit the spot for 4 hungry Pirates! In the immortal words of Arnold Schwarzenegger....I'll be back!!

The chicken vindaloo and lamb jalfrezi were poor. The lamb was tough and went in the bin. Chicken was not as hard but the vindaloo was bland. The cheese naan had not been anywhere any cheese.Spend money elsewhere.

Had a quick lunch here after a Sunday Wittingham clump walk. Shares a Jingha prawn dish and Dhal, naan bread and pilaf rice. All delicious and piping hot. Perhaps on the pricey side if you donât take a set lunch but we really enjoyed so no complaints. Service very good as well.
