Witham /ˈwɪtəm/ is a town in the county of Essex in the East of England, with a population (2011 census) of 25,353. It is part of the District of Braintree and is twinned with the town of Waldbröl, Germany. Witham stands between the city of Chelmsford (8 miles to the south-west) and the town of Colchester (13 miles to the north-east), on the Roman road between the two. The River Brain runs through the town and joins the River Blackwater just outside.

Extremely disappointed with our delivery:Large chips - reasonable portion but only luke warmChicken nuggets - luke warmPizza - luke warm, lots of cheese, but scarce on other toppings, so little barbecue sauce I wouldn't have known it was barbecue, the whole pizza tasted like it had been cooked from frozen (the cheese was gooey rather than stretchy and the onion tasted old or previously frozen) and the chicken looked more like meatballsApple pie with cream - apple pie extremely cold - cream was liquid with bubbles - either melted icecream or squirty cream which had been left for a really long time. Once separated and heated, it was delicious (very sweet) and a reasonable size.The chocolate cake portion was miniscule.The saving grace was the Ben & Jerry's - which given that's made by someone else is hardly a compliment.Perhaps it's different if you order at the counter, but I certainly wouldn't recommend this place - I expected better for £30!

I wanted a healthy lunch and wasnât sure on how to order in subway but to my delight the staff were absolutely perfect in manners, very helpful and very polite guiding me through every step of ordering my chicken salad.I was very happy with the recommendation of sauce by the staff and also the price of under £5.I will be a regular at Subways now if all the branches are at the same standard as this one.Recommended

We grabbed a takeaway last night from here after just moving into the area.The chips were fantastic.The owner/manager was very friendly and threw in a an extra pickled egg.Would definitely come back here again

This is the first time that I have used Yings. I can honestly say that this is by far the best Chinese I have had within the local area. I ordered a vast array of different dishes and all dishes was served piping hot and the dishes them self was flavoursome, and we'll seasoned. I always order a salt and pepper chicken as well and this is by far the best one I have had in a very long time. The prices are slightly higher than the local takeaway reatruants but from my experience and with the quality of food, I will now make this a regular haunt.I have been using another local takeaway until recently when the food had gone down hill and then the hygiene rating was rated a 1* for various reasons from this point I had stopped using my regular.

Offers a good range of food. Will take orders over the phone or in person. Food is very good although I must say I would prefer to place order then visit "fish and chip shop" for the chips. Unfortunately chips from this chinese venue are usually very soft and soggy. Otherwise foods are tasty and moorish.

The greasiest food i have ever had. Ordered a number of lamb dishes. Only 1 was really upto scratch. Ordered online took over an hour. Saag aloo was really aloo with a strand of saag. Shame guess need to keep looking
