On this side of Woking there are few enough reasons for visiting/ lingering and so the cafe is just an outpost serving local Portuguese and anyone who happens by. Staff friendly and helpful. A basic cafe but a nice enough spot for a cuppa.

Welcome to the Rowbarge! Originally built as a 19th century pub for the construction teams at the nearby canal, the Rowbarge has been welcoming folk and providing good food, drink and a comfortable bed for over 150 years. Just 5 minutes from Woking centre
Went to the rowbarge last night with a groupon voucher entitling us to a three course meal for 2 with free flowing Prosecco for an hour for under £40, food was delicious, I would recommend the Camembert fir starter , the chicken breast in a mushroom sauce, and the sticky toffee pudding, although the other dishes looked lovely too! If you canât get hold of a groupon voucher, the food is reasonably priced any way. We spoke to the manager who advised that he took over in November last year, we should try and support our local pubs before we lose them. Itâs definitely a thumbs up from us and we will soon be booking again for the Sunday roast. So kind, and look forward to hosting you again!

Very busy. Sat outside. Wonderful attentive service from bishal making us feel so very valued. Had 1/2 chicken with garlic butter which was a bit dry. Had fillet steak which was perfect. Also had a couple of lovely desserts. All washed down with a bottle of chemical merlot. Manager Shaun concerned why we were say outside. It was our choice. Nice of the manager to show concern.

Charming 16th Century award winning pub/restaurant, situated on the High Street, in the centre of Ripley.
I managed to get a table at the Anchor at short notice and 4 of us went for a birthday meal on a Saturday evening, the staff were extremely friendly and even though the table was needed for another booking after us we were not rushed and did not feel pressured to finish our meal. The food was lovely, very fresh, nicely presented and tasted amazing, even though we have not been to The Anchor for a couple of years it is still one of our favourite local places to eat.

Barons Pub Company are delighted to be the new owners of The Inn at West End; a delightful pub and restaurant with twelve boutique letting rooms located on the A322 just 3 miles from J3 of the M3 in the Guildford direction. We're open all day every day fo
We stayed here for an event at Pirbright army training centre which is about 10 minutesâ drive from here. We had a superior double room which was roomy, scrupulously clean and had a lovely comfortable bed. The food at the pub was very nice. Aspects of the breakfast were a little disappointing eg unsalted butter, muffins not toasted enough and too much Hollandaise on the eggs benedict. Also my husband had scrambled eggs one morning and he felt that they were pasteurised eggs rather than fresh. To end on a positive, all staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a pleasant stay. Hi Nicola, many thanks for your review and feedback, glad you enjoyed your stay with us but I apologise for the couple of issues with your breakfasts which I will address with our chef team. We always use fresh eggs so apologies if the quality did not shine through on this occasion. Hope to welcome you again next time you are in the area :o)

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local couple whist be stayed overnight in a local hotel.A traditional local pub one side and a large but intimate restaurant on the other. Staff were really friendly and efficient and quickly seated as soon as we arrived.Drinks were a reasonable price and they had a large quantity of wines and spirits. Between us we had a fish cake and risotto, both of a really good standard. We also had a baileys ice cream and espresso dessert. The bill came to a little over £55 which we felt was great value for money too. A decent amount of parking on site but if you arrived a little later then you might struggle to get a space. Definitely somewhere we would visit again.

In the heart of Woking, Latino restaurant offers Italian cuisine using authentic recipes and cooking methods. The innovative menu showcases Italian classics such as traditional pizzas with colourful toppings, or delicious pasta dishes with tantalising sau
Latino is our first choice restaurant in Woking. We really like it because the food is always fresh and home-made. Arancini and Melanzane alla Parmigiana are my favourite starters, as a main I really the pizzas or the some of the pasta dishes, the âPaccheriâ are divine. My daughters like the fillet of beef which is their favourite dish in Latino. I do not usually eat their dessert however the Tiramisù is very good and home-made.When in Woking we will definitely be back.

We downright adore this cosy cottage restaurant in the Surrey village of Ripley, which was originally built in the 16th century. After surviving former lives as a dwelling and an antique shop selling Toby jugs, the Toby Cottage Restaurant was converted to
I hosted friends who had never been but had heard me talking of it. On arrival was given the normal lovely greeting, then shown to our seats with the special style that i onley see at the Toby. we were going to have the Sunday Lunch but friends still wished to peruse the menu and wine list which all agreed looked good and of course all had noticed the Sweet Trolley. The Toby's decor is rustic with beams and some are low, it has an old world of elegance and charm complimented by the friendly staff who nothing seems any trouble at all.to attend to your needs. Friends prior to being served were very interested in the differing foods that were passing our table and also remarked on the use of silver service but without it being pretentious.Yes we did wine and dine having the full three course Sunday Lunch, YES we were full but who could resist the famous Sweet Trolley, we could not. Succulent food, lovely atmosphere and impeccable service, friends did agree without being asked when are we coming back. I must also mention the bathrooms which also are of the high standard of the Toby. Thank you for a very enjoyable lunchtime event.
