We dined here early one saturday evening as a party of seven with two small children. The pub had a really lovely atmosphere and was warm and cosy. The staff were very patient with the children and gave them colouring in kits with crayons. The menu was extensive and I had the chateaubriand with my husband. It was sensational.Dear The_Wylie_Coyote, thank you very much for leaving us such an amazing feedback. It's great to see you and your family enjoyed dinner at The Hare. Hope we can see you again. Kind Regards, Denisa

After a high street tour, on your way to home, you just insist for one more glass of wine. Maybe two.It should be a Pinot Nero at this place. Get some olives too. It's a discreet place.Be discreet and get there.Shhh...!

Zaza restaurant in the heart of Rickmansworth has a charming location in a listed building in Church Street. The exposed brick and ancient beams combine beautifully with the stylish cream walls, modern art works, fresh flowers, dark wood tables and seatin
Zaza in Rickmansworth has a pleasant ambience and as the dining area is spread over 3 floors feels cosy and intimate. The service was efficient and attentive during a quiet Monday lunchtime and the food tasty and nicely presented. I did feel that the meals were rather overpriced in spite of a lunchtime offer. By the time drinks and service were added the cost tends to creep up.

Another wonderful night at Prime, as always service and food on another level, we were greeted and seated by a lovely Host who immediately sent over our waitress for the eve, her name was Sorina, she took our drinks order and arrived with a lovely glass of Prosecco for us all complimentary which was so nice. We shared the starters Pate and Camembert between the 4 of us, there was plenty as accompanied by the delicious warm cheese scones which also are complimentary. I had the burger which is always so fresh served on a light Brioche Bun, my 3 family members all had steaks, a fillet, a Ribeye and a Sirloin, all were cooked to perfection, the sides were hot, we always have a great meal at Prime, this was the first time my Son had eaten here and he is a real foodie, he absolutely loved it. Staff always are so friendly and polite, Sorina was fabulous tonight. Many thanks and we will see you all again soon.

Whether you're joining us for dinner before a show at the Watford Palace Theatre, or savouring breakfast before a walk around Cheslyn House and Gardens, we would be delighted to welcome you to Côte Brasserie Watford. Boasting cosy yet chic interiors, our
A relatively new branch. They use runners to bring out the food from kitchens, who look like lots souls when they arrive down the stairs from the kitchen, looking for the waiter who owns the order. I'm not sure this works quite right yet as you see them standing there with food getting cold when busy. The welcome on arrival was pleasant. We had s 7.15pm booking. It took s while for the waiter to take our orders but he was polite. We got our drinks and starters eventually and paid little attention to the time. It was a Friday evening and the restaurant was very busy. We were still waiting for mains and noted the time was now around 8.40pm. A1 hour 25 minute gap between sit down and mains is not great. Having said that, the food was very good. I had French onion soup and salad nicoise, others had chicken liver parfait, risotto, duck. We may have ordered dessert but wanted to get away after 2 hours. All in all, it's a good addition to the Watford restaurant scene, appears popular, food good and pleasant enough staff but needs to review its service process. I'm sure it will get there.

Whilst Iâve visited St James a while ago this visit was a surprise birthday treat. Food, wine and service were superb. This restaurant is clearly the very best in the wider area and Iâd strongly recommend anyone to enjoy this very special place.

We are a Family run Mediterranean style Restaurant serving Pizza, Pasta, Grill, Coffee & Cakes. We are open from 12pm serving Brunch & Coffee.
We are from Watford and we were looking for somewhere different to eat so we headed here. We got a table for 17:30 for a family of 4, and had the restaurant to ourselves which was lovely. ESP when you are trying somewhere new with kids, you never know how they are going to be so itâs a relief when we are the only people. The service was amazing and very friendly, they interacted well with my daughter which we donât usually get when eating out. I can imagine that the place is buzzing of an evening and we will be back to enjoy it fully! But defo a place to return!!Food was lovely! I tried every dish at our table and every dish was different, some places you go, all the sauces are the same base so the food is samey but not here! Each of our 4 dishes where different in flavour.Perhaps up-sell some garlic bread as we forgot to order but would have with a prompt. Fantastic bite to eat! And we will be back!!!
