Cafe Barletta is a restaurant located in the main concourse of Dreamland. The seasonally led menu takes inspiration from European cafe culture, with a focus on British sourced vegetables and meat. Expect spritz cocktails and an ever changing wine list, fo
I heard of this little gem because I tried to book a table for lunch last Saturday at any of the other restaurants I would usually go to and they were all full, so - somewhat despairing - I asked one of them for recommendations and they said - "there's this little place just opened inside Dreamland, the chef has a good reputation and it's really great food..." I didn't really have any other options and I needed a table for 6 so I gave them a call. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. A cafe with good food - inside Dreamland? :/I couldn't have been more surprised at how good it all was - from the raw seabass ceviche-style starter to the roast cauliflower with harissa, the amazing (and VERY meaty and filling) tagliatelle with bone marrow... we pretty much ordered one of everything and it didn't disappoint. If I were to pick nits, I would point out that some of the mains were a LOT bigger than others, but the overall quality, presentation and flavours were absolutely fabulous. The service was charming - not perfect, but very charming and super friendly, even though we had brought a baby with us!Definitely going back. Thoroughly recommend.

With stunning, polished marble floors, soaring 12 foot windows and a sea view balcony, we believe that The Orangery restaurant is the finest dining venue in Thanet. Set beside Smiths Court Hotel, the bay windows have a great view across the bandstand and
We've recently had our works Christmas party at the orangery / smiths court hotel . The food was superb and the staff worked tirelessly to make sure we had everything we needed. A great evening was had by all

Had a wonderful 'bottomless brunch' here, as part of my daughter's hen weekend. The restaurant setting was amazing and the staff were very welcoming. We all ordered the hotcakes, eggs and bacon, although two had the hotcakes with the healthier (?!!) option of berries and coconut cream. Some had the inclusion of the bottomless prosecco, but others ordered a non alcoholic cocktail, and it was nice to have both options. The food was incredibly good, and I highly recommend a visit!

Our dinner was very good. We had chicken breast wrapped in parma ham with crushed new potatoes and petit pois a la francais. We thougt the "crushed new potatoes" were mashed potatoes, but they were literally crushed, a new experience for us. The service was quite all right. We will probably be back sooner or later.Look for more reviews by MulleEllum.Dear Guest, thank you for your review, please do come back and visit us again soon,we have a Wonderful New Chef and even better Menu now.. We stumbled upon this place on a day trip out with the family including a fur baby and the staff were warm welcoming and the service was amazing, the kitchen is small so not everything came out at the same time but it wasn't long between things coming out, it has a small inside area and a large outside area I would recommend booking a table and getting in early. But with that said I can highly recommend the food and the drinks would go back Hi aThank you for your review, we are pleased you had a great time, your feedback is great value to the team. Following the launch of our restaurant, The Salutation offers a wealth of dining options, from dawn âtil dusk. With the North Wing opened up to accommodate our state of the art kitchen, our dining rooms fully refurbished, and our tearoom given a fresh sta
My friend and I visited this restaurant for an afternoon tea. We are both Coeliacs so therefore gluten free was required. Lovely surroundings, pleasant staff.Four fillings of sandwichâs were presented to us, which were pleasant but we would have preferred to have chosen the fillings we wanted. The sweet items were well presented, and very tasty. Within the price of the afternoon tea was admission to the award winning gardens. The only negative comment about the visit, was that we was sitting in one of the restaurants eating our tea, music playing. The room was nearby the kitchen, staff within the kitchen were shouting very loudly and this went on for some time. Eventually they had to shut the door of the dining room to shut out the noise!

I've had cocktails on the terrace with friends, drinks and seafood and the bar and dinner in the restaurant, and I've had excellent food, drink and service each time I've been. The views are stunning, and the staff always friendly and really helpful. The food is delicious and varied and the drinks are fantastic - local wines and great cocktails.

Pizza & Italian Food in the Heart of Margates Old Town. Traditional and authentic food, served in typical italian style. Busy weekends - call to book a table.
We had a delivery tonight, dreadful!! When it arrived the pizza's where all mashed into the corner of the boxes, pizza's where ok, not great, I would not have them again and we eat a lot of pizza, my wife is Italian! Had the tiramisu pudding and it was very bland I only had one mouthful and left the rest not even a slight coffee taste. My son always keeps a few slices of his pizza to have for breakfast but even he said we could throw the rest away! I do not understand why this place is so high on TripAdvisor! If you are going to eat here do not get a delivery unless you like mush, total waste of money.Hi there We apologise for the state the food arrived to you in, the food was in perfect condition when it left us so the food being smashed is down to the Deliveroo rider but we are still sorry for that as we wouldnât want anyone to have their food arrive like that. Itâs sad that you are judging how high we are on tripadvisor without visiting us in person because we believe you need to be in the right environment to enjoy it all. We make all our food with love and care as we want everything to be perfect for our customers so they have the right experience with us. So please feel welcome to come in whenever and you can see what everyone else is talking about and see you how you feel about us then. Thank you very much and we hope to see you soon.

Authentic southern Italian food, homemade fresh pasta, Italian deli, Supper Club, pasta lessons. Eat in or takeaway.
Well we didn't expect this of Margate. Fabulous, authentic, great quality Italian food in a charming restaurant. Burata - amazingTagliatelli - wonderfulTiramasu - goodCheese - wow!Plus a really interesting wine list which we devoured a bit too much).Definitey worth a visit. The only downside that rattled us a bit was the presumptive close of 'how much service/tip would you like to leave' as apparently the waitress had to add this to the card machine rather than letting us decide. We felt rather bullied into this. We'd have left at least 15% anyway but it was the way of doing it we didn't like.
