This is a nice sandwich bar, it has a good selection of home made sandwiches, hot and cold food. The service is friendly, they do have some seating if you want to eat in. They also do nice coffee and teas and cold drinks. Everything is prepared fresh. Never had any bad food here always been very tasty.
My husband and I visited this cafe as we were passing through the village. I must say the service and cleanliness of the cafe was excellent and so was the prices. We just ate an hot sandwich each and it was delicious. Well worth giving it a try

avoid avoid avoid bad service bad food rude staff tries to charge too mutch for what they offer don't bother this place has gone right down since new management took over no one goes there any more the place is dead it used to be packed now it's emptyHi, I am the owner of The Teapot based inside Phillimore Garden Centre and have owned and worked at this business for 11 years now. I canât understand why you thought we were under new management? I get many compliments each day for our standard and price of our food. May I suggest that you might be mistaking us for the garden centre 100 yards away which has changed management recently.?
Relaxing chilled cafe , serving locally sourced, freshly cooked food. Come in ,chill out ,log in .A welcoming independent cafe for all, muddy paws and toddlers welcome.
We visited this establishment again recently as we had previously eaten here in the past when it was Hoggs Cafe and it had a pleasurable dining experience. Unfortunately the same couldn't be said on this occasion. I ordered an "All Day Breakfast" not realising this meant it would take all day to prepare it ! Service was chaotic bumbling and slow. Parts of our meals were cold and some parts missing from the order all together. The salad was missing from my partners meal and when we asked why it was explained that it would slow down the preparation and service if they had put it on the plate ! No apologies for the errors and slowness was offered and air of bad attitude was apparent from some staff members. This review should really be 2 stars but as this establishment is relatively newly opened I have given them 3 in case they were just having a bad day.

had good coffee, breakfast - eggs nicely fried and really yellow yolks, buttered toast, a rather ordinary suasage and nice bacon. Slightly dated decore, but friendly. perfectly ok.

We stopped at the Ball for a coffee but took the opportunity to indulge a little by having breakfast. The eggs were spot on like everything else on the plate. The coffee was, as always top class. The cost is very reasonable and although they were very busy, we still received our fare in good time.

Arrived for breakfast after a long journey and had a breakfast baguette and coffee. Reasonably priced, filling and tasty enough (nice thick bacon) and very attentive and polite waiting staff. I loved that the baguette comes with freshly chopped salad, a really nice touch. While the cafe area was very clean, a trip to the toilet left a niggle of doubt in the mind. The carpet on the stairs was mashed to within an inch of its life with grime and the upstairs is 'tired' verging on tatty. That said, the toilets themselves were clean, it's just not a great impression for a restaurant. A lick of cheap paint is all it needs to look cared for. Overall though, the cafe experience was very good and I would go back for a fry up. Note, they only take cash!

Stopped here for breakfast before a round of golf yesterday. They have a great breakfast menu and indeed lunch menu. There is plenty of seating inside and outside if the weather is good. They have great coffee and teas. The service is always with a smile and very professional. There is plenty of parking outside, they have a fitness set up with a number of professionals on hand also they have some nice tennis courts as well. Great venue....
