I visited mid week and took up the £10.95 deal that got you a starter, a main, a veg side dish, Rice and a Naan Bread.Chicken Chaat starter was excellent and fresh. The lamb Korai was just right, it had excellent flavour. And both the rice and Naan complemented the main.Excellent value at £10.95, you had the whole menu to choose from. Ordinarily with these deals, you are set to certain dishes. But not this one.The place wasn't busy when I went in, but the phone was busy and they shifted some amount of take away.Only mark against the place was the state of the pint of Fosters that arrived. It was way off. I went into large bottles of Cobra after that. My error, but I'd suggest sticking to the bottled drinks in the place.

Nice place featured on TV
It was our first visit to this Indian after our regular place in KIngs Lynn had consistently been disappointing us. The starters mains and side dishes were absolutely excellent all very authentic and not from a bought in Jar of sauce! However upon leaving we said goodnight to the two members of staff at the bar area and we were completely ignored!! It put us right of going back with such poor manners, they were both pre occupied in counting out the money! The only person who deserves credit for her hard work and great smile is the young foreign (polish?) girl and sets a good example to the others

Booked in advance as were told it is hard to get seated. Stupidly thought this meant it was going to be good. We entered this themeless stark cafeteria styled room with a la ge table of screeming kids, some running around and with helium balloons...great we thought. The ignorant disinterested Chinese man tried to sit us, a couple, right next to this noise machine. I said we wanted to sit the other end of the restaurant at which he showed distain. We sat and a few minutes later he asked what we wanted to drink. My wife picked up the drinks menu and he just walked off! We eventually ordered drinks, another waiter brought them out who didnt know which table they were for, didnât smile just plonked them on the table and left. Now maybe itâs just me but money is hard to earn and a service industry like a restaurant should want my business, it should crave my business, it should pull out all the stops to make sure I want to return to spend more of my hard earned money at their establishment......not on your nelly....half an hour we waited to be asked to place our order with kids running around. When we finally had a different female waitress come and ask what we wanted I simply said âthe bill pleaseâ. Needless to say we wonât ever be going back here again.

Haven't been to the restaurant for about 6 years as don't live nearby, and went for a special occasion. The food was absolutely excellent, the place was buzzing and so lovely to see familiar faces of the staff there. We shall absolutely not leave it so long next time.

Mehmaan Rustic Indian Restaurant is an authentic Indian food and not fusion like all other restaurant. All our ingredient are fresh and freshly prepared even chicken, lamb and fish we served are fresh and not frozen, as we believe in quality and not quant
We visited this restaurant after staying away for 18 months having previously been disappointed by the state of the toilets and the attitude of 1 waiter. The food at this restaurant was excellent as always but we were sadly let down again by the service and condition of the toilets. We booked a table for 7.30 but we arrived early although we were seated immediately and served papadums and drink we had to wait 45 minutes for our starter and a further half an hour for main course even though there were only four tables with people on ,when we requested coffee and desserts we were told we close early on a Sunday (it was 9.40 and restaurant closes at 10.30)and coffee machine is switched off.He told us they had no ice cream only Indian dessert .When one of our party protested that we had booked in advance and how they could have not have coffees he walked over to the coffee machine and said it's okay its still on ,knowing full well it was as he was in charge. After leaving a generous tip due to excellent food ,outdide lights were switched off before we got to the door leaving us stumbling in the dark.
