Only ever get one dish from here (fried rice, chips & curry sauce all together in a large, round container) but it's always, always good. The curry sauce isn't too hot but is still really tasty. The kids shared chicken fried rice which they both enjoyed too. Good food & good value.

Iâm a regular visitor to Taiwan and southern China on business, authentic Chinese cuisine is my favourite but it is difficult to find in the UK. This small but cosy restaurant offers superb authentic Chinese food certainly one of the best places Iâve eaten at in the UK. Family run business with very friendly hostess and knowledgeable helpful chef Who specialises in Sichuan cuisineKung Po chicken is superb As is the crispy duck with pancake and the Sichuan King prawn in hot spicy sauce. Very reasonably priced and excellent value.

Me and my partner visited Jamals last night, we haven't been in a while. The food was fantastic as usual it never changes its consistently good food. This restaurant should be full all the time as it's by far the best curry around these parts. Maybe if Jamal removed few tables and made it more exclusive he would be able to cope better and not have to turn people away. The food may take a little while but its quality. Thanks jamal.

I visited umi first with my boyfriend a few weeks ago and between us we tried quite a lot of things on the menu such as spicy tuna sushi, the octopus dough balls, avocado sushi, gyozas and the katsu, all of which were absolutely delicious. We were so impressed that the following week we got takeaway and it arrived in around 20 minutes and again was really tasty. This week I brought my friend to try it out and she loved it! The waitress is also lovely and very helpful. We will be back very soon!
