This place used to be very good, and I would go quite often (probably up to once a week). However, something changed and I will not go again. I'm not sure what has gone wrong on their end but suddenly the food is not as good and the staff bordering on apathetic. The last time I went, we were waiting over an hour for our food, and the place wasn't very busy. Then when the food did come, it was cold and we had to send it back. (I have never done this before in my life!)All in all, it used to be really cheap at £2.99 for any pizza/pasta during the week, and this was fantastic value for what you got. Now, it's £3.49 for the same offer, but you get what you pay for.

We decided last minute to go out for lunch while visiting my parents. We hadn't booked but we were given a table for a couple of hours which suited us. We used to live locally about 10 years ago and this place has changed dramatically. It is warm, modern and I love open kitchens. The menu is so varied and they could cater very easily for mine and my dads food intolerances. All the soups are vegan and mine was delicious. My dad opted for halloumi kebabs but as he has a wheat intolerance he didn't want the wraps bit these were replaced with chips. I wasn't particularly hungry so I opted for the calamari starter as my main course. The portion was generous and the calamari was tender. My mum loved her vegetarian falafel dish which came with a stew, flat bread, cous cous and houmous. It was a really generous size. My husband enjoyed his turkey roast dinner but he did say the goats cheese starter with onions and beetroot was one of the best goats cheese starters he had. My daughter was given a little kit of activities and colouring to keep her occupied. She loved her chicken goujons and chips, she actually finished all her chicken and found room for a chocolate brownie with ice cream. My parents really enjoyed the food and they said they will pop back in the next few weeks. The service was impeccable throughout the meal. Good morning,This is a wonderful review to read - thank you so much for the 5 stars! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your family visit and loved our soup, Halloumi Kebab, falafel, calamari and of course our Goats cheese!! Thank you :)We will pass on your amazing feedback to the team and hope to be able to welcome you back again very soon..

Thought I would try this place because of the rave reviews it has received. Went on a quiet Tuesday evening. Ordered from the fixed price set menu. Pan Fried Mushrooms to start, Teriyaki Salmon for main course and Tiramisu for dessert. All the food was well cooked/prepared. The Teriyaki Salmon came with 'Singapore style noodles' but it was actually egg noodles not rice vermicelli noodles (there is a big difference) and made the dish too 'heavy'. Could not give it a V. Good rating but felt it was above Average. Service style left a bit to be desired. No side plates, just combined salt & pepper on the table, no tablecloths, food simply brought and plonked on front of you. Likely will give it another go on the A La Carte menu maybe next time.

We have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and we are becoming less and less fond of it. We visited for lunch and ordered three dishes from the lunch offer and two dishes from the main menu. The tortilla dish was most unpleasant as it was served cold straight out of the fridge. The paella was a very strange dish bearing no resemblance to anything we've eaten in Spain. That said the scotch egg and almond chicken dish were both very good. The restaurant was quite full and the acoustics and the ventilation didn't work well. They still persist in fully opening the door every so often regardless of the weather. It was not an enjoyable lunchtime experience.

We visited the Mediterranean on the recommendation of my dad, who had been several times before, to celebrate his birthday.Gorgeous setting and lovely comfortable atmosphere. On arrival our table had banners and table decorations....a very thoughtful touch! The menu was really interesting and had lots of choice. The food was amazing...very generous portion sizes and lovely presentation. My chicken tagine was packed with flavour and succulent chicken. The midweek offers sound like really excellent value for money. We will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
