Ganges continues to deliver what i think is one of the best takeaways in Shrewsbury!Ordered our weekly takeaway last night and as usual very happy with everything!Super range of great tasting curries, accompanied by sheek kebab, pilau rice and Nan bread.Ordered via their own Ganges app saving 10%. Always ready on time for pick up. Efficient service from Parvez.Highly recommended!

House sitting for friends down the road. They recommend this restaurant and it really is of the highest standards. Professional relaxed service. Good meal sizes, we only had mains and that was enough, but just pace yourself if you want more. I had welsh lamb chops curry with pillow rice, £12.95 ish and good value. Oddly we didnât fancy alcohol, and strange to comment on - but the iced water with the excellent spices is probably a good call. I understand it does get busy, but we got lucky calling up 20 mins beforehand.

Visited on a quiet Sunday evening, pleasant staff, good food all presented well, love the new look, very reasonably priced, only one criticism the onion bahgees were a little floury for my taste and lacking flavour, however my wife thought they were lovely, personal choice, would recommend.

Stayed at nearby mecure and they recommended this place when we asked for the best nearby Indian We turned up without booking and felt the constant stream of people coming in for takeaway or to eat showed it was a popular place The waiters suggested dishes based on what we liked spice wise and their recommendations were great. Tasty dishes and big portions (enough to pack up bits to take home)We had a lovely two course dinner plus pickle tray with drinks for around £25 each Highly recommend a visit

Popped in on a Saturday night without a reservation, we were greeted with "yes Sir, no problems. Made to feel very welcome from start to finish. As always the food was superb, the staff are very friendly, not to much but enough to make you feel valued, and extremely knowledgable about thier menu.

Staff rude and conceited. Restaurant small and tables too close for staff to work. Constant asking for diners to move chairs. They serve flat soft drinks from 2 litre bottles as opposed to draught or small bottles. Wi-Fi code not given when requested. Food standard is average.Overall a bad experience which will not be repeated!

Always receive a warm welcome here, such a friendly, smiling reception. We usually have our normal table waiting as we tend to dine early.Order taken quickly and food arrives promptly. Every meal we have had here tastes delicious. Recently refurbished so very pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended!
