This restaurant has definitely improved over the last year or so. In my opinion it has never been any worse than good, but now is consistently excellent. The food is always the main thing for any restaurant and Olive are on the ball. Always fresh, always tasty. Great service is for me #2 for a top restaurant, and again Olive excels. Last but not least is value for money. Olive beats most of the nearby restaurants in this category also. All round excellence, and if you havenât tried it, you must. Booked in here before we went to see a Jersey Boys - lovely meal and very reasonable as we got 25% off bill for being theatre goers Andrew our waiter was fantastic, as we had limited time, he ensured our 2 courses were delivered promptly - fantastic service by a lovely waiter who also gave us tips n where to go for drinks after the show Would definitely recommendThank you for taking the time to give us such a fantastic review. Needed a Curry Restaurant near to our hotel so chose Baton Rouge as was within walking distance. Large restaurant with great atmosphere. Food was great and service good despite being busy. Would definitely recommend. Only negative was no mobile signal.

We booked a Groupon deal for this restaurant, as we were staying at nearby Heywood House Hotel, The bar is clean, nicely decorated, and relaxing with a good atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. We will definitely return here in April.

We stopped over for lunch while visiting Liverpool. Food was good and staff friendly. Arabic origin cooks which means it wilk be as authentic as possible. But honestly was a bit disappointed in the fattouch itself as it wasn't as it should have been traditionally made. It should include "baqleh" or water cress and fresh mint leaves and romane lettuce with copious amounts of sumac as dressing. Unfortunately it wasn't the case.Would recommend it though Hi Fatema , Thank you a lot for your feedback Glad you enjoyed your time at Fattoush Regarding the Fattoush salad some items like paqla can not be found in the uk this is depend on the weather also roman we always add pomegranate and pomegranate sauce on Fattoush salad plus good amount of sumak. Visited for dinner with group of friends and couldnât of asked for anything better! From the door supervisors pleasant greeting, to the warm hospitality of the waiters, to top of the food and drinks where unbelievable and far exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommend! First visit to Amara. Staff attentive and friendly. No fault there. However restaurant very cold so uncomfortable. Starters tasty but mains were just warm and my lamb dish was poor quality, very fatty and tough. Would not visit again. But please note this was not due to staff who were splendid, just down to food quality and surroundings.

We ate here on Tuesday night and it was amazing- special of sea bass and prawns. Now, we love fish and have eaten in many great fish restaurants, but this was one of the best meals we have had. Starters of scallops and mussels were great too, and a good hint of chilli in the mussels gave it a different flavour from the usual mussels in white wine. No room for me for pudding but my husband fancied all the puddings on the menu, so Tino russled up a plate of mini deserts for him, although the tiramisu was certainly not mini! Tino was an excellent waiter, made us feel very much at ease. Loved it - will we back? Itâll be the first place we book next time we are in Liverpool!
