The Restaurant at Orestone Manor is set in a lovely Georgian building with views over the gardens and sea beyond. We offer informative, efficient, friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. We offer a Fine dining and Set price menu as well as Light bites, L
Always go by your recommendations so when I entered best Sunday lunch and Orestone Manor came up I booked I was advised the time shiw on there site was incorrect and we were booked in at 12.15 lunch time I stated I was allergic to Black peppers he went away to the Chef then came back to us saying all of there Sunday roasts were drenched in pepper all night and the roast potatoes I have never come across this before as they were advertising the roasts Beef, pork Chicken you would have thought that one of the three would have been supplied without adding pepperes I had to end up with fish for Sunday lunch not what I wanted I think they should advertise that they add these allergic items so people are aware Graham Thurston the fish was very good and the serviceWe are please you enjoyed the fish and service. Our website does clearly state our dinning times . However as with all restaurants time slots do get booked up. It sounds to me 12.15 was the only time slot we had available when you booked. I see from your booking that you booked through open table ( a third party booking agent). If you had phoned us directly we would have asked if you had any dietary requirements. We would have been more than happy to accommodate your pepper allergy had we known. Unfortunately the nature of a roast is the preparation beforehand hence the inflexibility. The Orestone Manor does always try to accommodate all allergies but it is best that we know upon booking. We do hope we can welcome you back to The Orestone but please phone us directly next time.

I am delighted to write this review following a three night stay here in May 2019 to celebrate our wedding anniversary with my wife and members of my family.Lovely traditional restaurant serving good food at dinner and breakfast. The bar serves a good range of drinks and provides a " happy hour" every day. There is a terrace beside the bar with sun shades and comfortable settees and chairs overlooking Paighton green and sea front. Lovely well groomed grounds with comfy chairs and sun beds with mattresses. Well equipped leisure club, swimming pool and beauty spa. Rooms were excellent, clean with very comfortable beds. Delightful Chamber maids provided daily room cleaning and restocking of tea and coffee. Each and every member of staff we encountered were 10 out of 10 for customer service to mention a few in no particular order, Paul, Mike, Gabriel, Sue, Courtney, David, Stella, Kebba and Charles they are all a credit to the Palace hotel. Looking forward to another visit soon.

"tapas Is A Way Of Life" Small Mouthfuls Of Something Savoury To Share Over A Glass Of Wine With Great Conversation
We ate here one evening while having a week in Paignton, having discovered the attached pub (see separate review). Had a pretty good selection of tapas-style dishes (6 plus olives between us). Mostly Good but wedges with warm salsa over the top is not a proper patatas bravas! Otherwise decent enough and sensible prices. Friendly staff but service slightly slow; it was busy. As long as you are not expecting full authentic Spanish tapas (to be fair I think they describe it as tapas-styles, i.e. lots of small dishes) then you could do far worse in Paignton.Hello Anton, Thank you for taking the time for your good review. Our Patatas bravas is diced potatoes deep fried until crisp and golden with our homemade salsa and tomato sauce poured over the top. We describe ourselves as a tapas style eatery, so we have a more Mediterranean feel to the restaurant. We are glad you enjoyed the rest of your visit. kind regards.

Sky Bar and Bistro is a causal, A La Carte dining experience where good food comes first and great cocktails a close second. Opening times will vary depending on reservations made.
Yet another great visit to the Sky Gin Bar, Lovely ambience, delightful decor, superb service and delicious dining!A wonderful new menu offers a tantalising tease of choices with the Pork Trio highly recommended. This is a very versatile restaurant that can offer intimate dining for two, family meals or even large parties can be accommodated,Don't leave it too long before you try it!

The menu looked great, with a lot of choice, so inside we ventured. Nice interior, clean, welcoming, good atmosphere. Service with a smile from the waitress, who was very helpful. The food was delicious, generous portions, nicely presented - nothing was too much trouble. Have recommended to friends already, and will be popping in again to try one of the other meals from the menu.
