Always go by your recommendations so when I entered best Sunday lunch and Orestone Manor came up I booked I was advised the time shiw on there site was incorrect and we were booked in at 12.15 lunch time I stated I was allergic to Black peppers he went away to the Chef then came back to us saying all of there Sunday roasts were drenched in pepper all night and the roast potatoes I have never come across this before as they were advertising the roasts Beef, pork Chicken you would have thought that one of the three would have been supplied without adding pepperes I had to end up with fish for Sunday lunch not what I wanted I think they should advertise that they add these allergic items so people are aware Graham Thurston the fish was very good and the serviceWe are please you enjoyed the fish and service. Our website does clearly state our dinning times . However as with all restaurants time slots do get booked up. It sounds to me 12.15 was the only time slot we had available when you booked. I see from your booking that you booked through open table ( a third party booking agent). If you had phoned us directly we would have asked if you had any dietary requirements. We would have been more than happy to accommodate your pepper allergy had we known. Unfortunately the nature of a roast is the preparation beforehand hence the inflexibility. The Orestone Manor does always try to accommodate all allergies but it is best that we know upon booking. We do hope we can welcome you back to The Orestone but please phone us directly next time.

Modern European restaurant in Brixham, Devon serving fire baked pizza from our pizza oven along with salads & sides. Plenty of vegan & vegetarian options available. We are also serving our signature coffee, cocktails & beers & ciders.
Tucked a few minutes away from the harbour, the food and service is second to none. We were so glad to have found it. All cooked to perfection with meat, veggie and vegan dishes. Great atmosphere, suitable for families, couples and singles alike. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Award winning cosy and intimate bistro located in the heart of Brixham, a stone's throw from the harbour. Our ethos is simple food cooked well, showcasing locally sourced ingredients where possible. Our food is cooked fresh daily and celebrates modern Eng
Very small restaurant but with a big heart, had chorizo and garlic starter amazing, as a main we shared the platter which was very large and represented dishes from around the world everyone was different and all very different from the usual tapas dishes. Made to feel welcome from the start, lovely evening and the couple who run and own this restaurant try to make your evening special highly recommended Thank you very much and this is a poignant review for us as it touches on exactly what we strive to do. We do have a big heart, love for good local produce and wine and love and appreciation for our loyal and new customers that understand our ethos. Thank you very much and we very much hope to welcome you back again.

Purchased on the 18th September 2019, the new owners plan to restore the outside of the building and rename the business The Railway Inn. They believe to be in keeping with its location next to the Steam Railway. Open for business as usual whilst the nece
We've been coming to WP for years and was looking forward to seeing the changes the new owners had made. I emailed them to book a table as the online system wasn't working, I didn't receive a response so I phoned a few days later to be told that the new owners don't have access to the system or emails (surely you'd update the website or redirect to a new site). We visited on a Sunday for lunch, the new menu has a mixed meat option which we both selected and on arrival it looked amazing but the meat was of really poor quality, really fatty and the pork tasted of dish water. Safe to say we'll be finding an alternative next time we're out for lunch!Dear Nicola, thank you for your review. If you click on The WP website it does in fact re-direct you to The Railway Inn and informs you that the website is coming soon - there is no contact information on there, so Im not sure when you made contact. We have only been here since the 19th September 2019 and are in the process of our own website being built and our business has a different name. We do not have access to any former company emails as I assume this would remain their private property. In fact before we came another company has run the business since May 2019. Sorry you didn't enjoy your food and a real shame you didn't mention anything at the time of eating we would have liked the opportunity of looking into the matter for you. It's very difficult to deal with a matter in retrospect. Thankfully the other 75 diners that day said they were happy and lots re-booked to come again.

Fabulous restaurant. We enjoyed an exquisite set meal which considering the high quality was extremely good value. Chef prepares everything fresh to order and Katherine on front of house is warm, friendly and very efficient. House wine included in the fixed price was very quaffable. Everyone seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Highly recommended.
