It is at the southwestern edge of the Greater London Urban Area and is a part of the London commuter belt, with frequent trains and a journey time of approximately 24 minutes to Waterloo station. Woking is 23 miles (37 km) southwest of Charing Cross in central London. Woking town itself, excluding the surrounding district, has a population of 62,796, with the whole local government district (the borough of Woking) having a population of 99,500 (mid-2011 estimate). Woking has been a Conservative area since the constituency was created in 1950, with Jonathan Lord re-elected as its Member of Parliament in the 2017 General Election.

The Canton is our first choice for a Chinese take away meal when we are in the area. The food is quickly prepared, well cooked and tasty. The huge menu is reasonably priced and offers a very wide choice.

I have been going here for years. There seem to have been various owners but the quality has always remained constant. Prices have steadily increased but not beyond market rates. There is a huge menu. Overall this is a reliable place and you will always get a tasty meal.

We went here tonight for my friends mums birthday. The food was lovely and so were the staff. There was a new girl bless her and she did really well. She was so nervous but Iâm hoping we put her at ease a bit. Because she was new the service was slower than normal but she had a lovely smile and was so polite and were in no rush. Now to the food. The food was lovely hot and fresh and so tasty. There was plenty to eat to. There was six of us and we had lots of different dishes that we shared. Asparagus in garlic , king prawns with cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce weâre my favourites. Others on the table loved the Duck and there was plenty to eat. The price is very good as well as you can eat as much as you like. Within reason lol so overall our meal was lovely !!!!! We shall be back again soon.

Excellent place for family groups or just an intimate dinner for two. Booked for a Sunday for our family of 11. Table ready for us, drinks served quickly and so was the food. A really good selection and tasty. Was the best Chinese restaurant I have been to in a long time.

Saturday lunch with my folks . Dad had hot and sour soup - enjoyed . Mum had scallops with ginger and spring onions ( £9.60 ) ouch . The scallops were sliced so finely that in total no more than two small ones were used . I had lettuce wrap with prawn and everything was minced so finely it was impossible to determine any prawn or prawn flavour . So starters were a huge disappointment. The mains of Hong Kong style pork , Szechuan beef , crispy chilli beef and Singapore noodles very good and a reasonable size . The service was impatient and grew increasingly so as my folks are slow and nearly immobile. One of the waiters blatantly looked at his watch as he hovered around the table . Sorry we kept the kitchen staff and waiting staff a bit longer . Perhaps you should have not opened on a Saturday lunchtime as ours was one of only two occupied tables in a huge restaurant

I called in a week ago whilst working away. I was in St John's all week so got to visit all three of the main eateries (Indian, Chinese and Italian). All I can say is that the people of St John's are very well served indeed. Tiang's was just as expected, clean, tidy, welcoming and with a very extensive menu. My dish was very good, I had Singapore fried rice and chicken in black bean sauce all washed down with a couple of ice cold Ting Tau beers. Very good and very much worth trying.

Called in for a takeaway.Lovely lady on the counter, helpful and attentive.Ordered our food, of which she advised and helped with our selection.Good portions,Selective menu,good prices.One of the few Chinese Takeaways we have enjoyed.Will have to visit again.
