Absolute garbage. Salt n Pepper ribs, distinct lack of meat. Lemon chicken ,far to much soggy batter . Very thin chicken. Crispy beef lacking taste overcooked. Frozen chips. Twenty quid down the drain.
Friendly quick service always great food, quick service, extensive menu, never had trouble parking on street. Small step to get in, level inside.

Visited Friars and although local I haven't been for some time. Ordered chicken curry and a large portion of chips; Cost £8. The chips were like scrag ends and not many of them, to say it was a large portion is misleading. The chicken curry consisted of a small portion of chicken and lots of brown tangy tasting gravy laughingly called curry. I normally use the takeaway next door, which I now realise is a lot cheaper for the same product. But there wasn't many in the Friary and it was B/Rovers half time so I took the risk. Never again! Gave them one point because I didn't miss much of the second half.

This is a very good take away, not a restaurant,We ordered a set meal for four, plus a rice and veg.dish, and they were quite amenable to minor alterations of the menu. There were six adults and one child. The food was ready when we collected it, and what a feast it was. I could not believe how much food we had on the table, I suppose if you are young you can put this amount of food away, but it took a long time and there was still plenty left.It was an all night feast, I think there was enough for 10 people
Chinese and Fish and Chips at good value prices, good quality, friendly service, 2 steps with handrail, double yellows outside.

At The Great Land Vegetarian Cantonese Restaurant. Last Monday July 30 , my party of 21 joined in with 50 others at Great Landâs Annual Vegetation Banquet. We arrived just after 6.30pm , weâre immediately greeted at the door and taken to our reserved tables. Pre-booking is a must. There were several menus choices and soon after giving our waitress the order, drinks were served and the courses started to arrive! Wonderful food, 8+ courses. Top class service and great admiration to Simon and Team in the kitchen. Just faultless. The entertainer, Gino and the closeup magician Colin kept us all entertained all night. All the proceeds from the night of £1250 is kindly donated by the owners to a childrenâs charity this year ( Macmillan last year etc). Watch out for the date in 2019 and make a booking. We have already. % all round and Great thanks to the owners and family.

A brand new dining experience in a fully refurbished light and airy restaurant in Clitheroe, for those looking for a very friendly atmosphere and great authentic Chinese food.
Visited yesterday, first time, and highly impressed. Lovely food, we chose one of their banquets which was delicious. The staff are so friendly and the place itself is newly refurbished and we are looking forward to our next meal there.

Kong San Cantonese restaurant and takeaway is a family friendly restaurant. We cater for all occasions such as birthdays, causal diningâs, business meeting etc...
was told it would be ready for a certain time turned up and still waited 25 minutes inside. The hot and sour soup was tasteless, very insipid;lacking many usual items that i expect in a good hot and sour soup. both main dishes had huge lumps of cauliflower and other veg in them as fillers;the beef in black bean was also very poor,3 meagre slices of beef in a boring plain sauce. the fried rice was also very run of the mill; to add insult to injury we both had terrible thirsts throughout the night, non stop water to compensate. there are many better chinese restaurants in clitheroe and the surrounding areas. we wouldnt return:
