Decided to try this restaurant as the reviews seemed very good and had a throughly enjoyable evening.We ordered the Chicken Shaslik, which arrived as a proper sizzler. We also had lots of sides all of which were piping hot and very tasty. Particularly liked the Saag Aloo and Onion Bhahji. If there was one observation, it was the vegetable curry. It was a bit watery and tasteless but overall still a very nice meal that didnât break the bank.Will definitely be back.

Having eaten here before and had a very good meal, i was disappointed this time - mostly by the service which was a average to poor. I suspect they were having some problems with the staffing. There were couple of issues with the food also. A dodgy popadom cooked in bad oil which wasn't really worth complaining about and some tough lamb tikka starter. Not the end of the world, but this coupled with the slapdash service won't have me rushing back.Extremely sorry for the slapdash service you had encountered at the Elaichi. We have made some changes to how we conduct our service in house over the phone and when a curry is delivered to you door. please give us the opportunity to show what we have achieved. We value your review and it is review like your that allow us to improve the way things are brought to the customers.

I live just 2 minutes round the corner so I thought I would try the local Indian resturant.The food was fantastic, and the waitering staff wete superb. The restaurant was very quiet, but this just meant we had even better service. My chicken passanda was lovely. Sometime they lack flavour but this resturant was able to do it properly! My girlfriend also loved her korma there was just too much of it! So we ended up taking it home.Overall great experince just round the corner. Would highly recommend to anyone in Cove!

Since the opening of an extremely local Indian Restaurant, I visited on numerous occasions and dined in with friends, family, large groups and also frequent takeaways. First time I have been here, the food was just excellent, had the naga chicken tikka curry, it was just so good hot and spicy, the mixed starter was so nice big chunks of tikka and lamb, I just could not fault any of the meal, and the man at the counter was very friendly, will be back there soon,

A cosy restaurant that my brother and I visited Thurs 20th Jun 2019. We both had the Paprika special with Pilau rice, Bhindi Bhaji and Saag Bhaji. From the greeting at the door to the settling of the bill, the staff were attentive, unobtrusive and most importantly the food was excellent, when I visit my brother again this will be on my list to revisit. I've had a takeaway a number of times from Cove Tandoori but my latest one has been, by far the best one I've ever had. That also includes a Michelin star curry house in Cardiff! The food was piping hot, tasted amazing and really made me want to order another one...Onion bhajis were crispy, Chicken tikka makhani was delicious and the naan was light. I'm very much looking forward to having another!
