Dropped in quite late on a Saturday night without a booking. The staff were friendly and welcoming and prepared a table for us in minutes. The service was excellent and the food was really tasty. Good value for money and would strongly recommend a visit.

Recently moved toWareham and tonight tried out this Chinese for a takeaway. It was disgusting. I had to spit the "chicken" balls out as they tasted so processed and nothing like chicken. The satay sauce and chicken tasted nothing of satay and again not proper chicken. The Singapore noodles were not made with the correct noodles and they had zero taste. The only thing that was ok was the prawn crackers! Avoid avoid avoid!

Oriental Cuisine. No website. It's been in Wareham (where I live) for about a year. Used to be called Monkeys. Also - for your records 2 Restaurants have recently closed down in Wareham which you are still listing they are:Poachers and Olive Pizzeria.Re
This restaurant/take-away has a food hygiene rating of 4, how is that possible? We wanted take-away and ordered house special chow mein and pork fillet with ginger and spring onion with fried rice. While we were waiting we looked around and realised we had made a mistake by coming here. There is a heating unit above the entrance door that has not been cleaned for months, all the light fittings have a thick layer of grease and dust on them, the carpet is frayed, the paintwork needs some serious attention and there was a bunch of dead flowers on one of the tables. As for the food, the fried rice had not been fried and the rice was overlooked and therefore starchy and clumped together, the pork fillet was mainly a container of onions and the pork itself was tasteless and like rubber, the chow mein appeared to have been cooked previously and had been heated up on more than one occasion. We had one mouthful of each and put the whole lot in the bin. A complete waste of £17.

Authentic Thai Restaurant by family run business. Freshly prepared and cooked by our Thai chef Ann. Allergies catered for and vegetarian dishes availableâ.
Recently opened and busy we were excited to try this new Thai out. A busy Saturday..we shared vegetarian tempura which was OK but not a great selection of veg and the mushrooms were soggy. I had pad thai with veg for main which again was OK but not a lot of veg in it, partner had a tofu and pepper sauce which he though quite bland. Wine by glass is really dull, bottles more interesting.Service ok but had to ask 3 times for jug of water, maybe just lucky in past but usually in Thai are given a basket of prawn crackers as appetiser but not here. Small things like orange segments when bill comes or hot towels to clean hands are usual too. So for us this would be somewhere to nip into before cinema but not somewhere for a night out.

Coming from West Yorkshire, I am used to eating very high quality curry due to the large number of Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi restaurants in our area, so after having tried two curries at other restaurants in the area, we went here. The previous two were bland with very little heat or flavour to the food, this was similar in flavour but the heat level was too much. We ordered Rogan Josh which is a medium heat curry we often eat, This was far too hot, my partner left hers.

Sadly, this restaurant is now lacking so much that once made it such a pleasurable experience. I attended for a birthday celebration, and was disappointed to find so many pleasant touches were absent. Firstly, there was no one to greet us when we arrived, unlike previous visits when a friendly waiter would meet us at the door. Secondly, our table was not ready, and we were asked to wait in the adjoining bar, which sadly has a "spit and sawdust" air about it. Thirdly, the attentive and efficient waiters had been replaced by waitresses who all gave off an impression of inexperience. One of them had clearly been outside on a cigarette break, as she reeked of cigarette smoke. The food was tasty enough, but again, the lack of experience and attention to detail as it was served brought unwelcome comparisons with previous occasions. For example, the table top warming plates which dishes used to be placed on were no longer in evidence. Finally, the waiter holding the door for us as we left was absent. If you want a no frills curry house, maybe you will come away satisfied, but in my opinion, the authenticity of Monsoon has been thrown away.

A lovely restaurant; nicely decorated and great, friendly staff. All this, however, was eclipsed by the food. They serve 'contemporary Indian and Nepalese' food and our meals were gorgeous.A great venue for couples, families, celebrations ... whatever you choose. And, just to be clear, I'm not involved with them in any way. We were having a short break in the South and this really was a highlight.
