Sit on the top floor, recently renovated and next to the childrenâs room which has drawing and crayons. Children were very happy and we were served in a very timely fashion. x1 large cod and chips and x3 cod and chips with drinks and baked beans, £41. No issue with cost portion sizes certainly not big. Very pleasant meal, all left happy and almost full

A good 7, or so years ago this place used to be amazing, then got new owners which is where it went rapidly downhill. There is has been new owners again in the past couple of years and it is back to it's best! Cannot fault the place and the deals it has are fantastic. My daughter does not usually eat smaller sized portions but the small sausage, chips and drink (for an amazing £1.99) fills her up. Possibly a bit too happy with it now because I keep going back

The worst fish n chips we have ever eaten. Very very dry chips that stick in your throat (lots of tiny scraps too) and almost white instead of golden brown. The fish was really watery as if taken from freezer and holding moisture.So many other chippies around and much nicer.Never again.Wow this is a tough read and saddens me greatly.Iâm very sorry to read your comments and I will be in touch with the team now to investigate why and how. .Decided to re visit when visiting Lytham St Annes, mostly local people, some interesting characters in the nicest way. The lady waitress calls everyone me duck, she is your favourite auntie personified. The service is prompt, the food is hot the quality up there with the best fish and chips . Forget the famous names this is the best in the area. We had one standard and one large meal which included drinks bread butter chips peas. The bill came to sixteen pounds fifty, worth every penny. One elderly lady had a small fish which looked similar to a regular and the lady waitress wrapped it up to take home as she couldn't finish it! You won't be disappointed but do check opening times. There are other choices also puddings if you have room.

Was stopping by Preston for business and decided to have a look for somewhere to have a nice dinner. This place is definitely hit the spot, ambience is nice, homely and friendly staff. Most importantly the food was nice, I ordered the sea bass. The cheese cake was a bit too soft for my like felt like it was melting. Apart from was lovely!

Dont know how this place is considered to be one of the best chippy in the st Anne's area as everytime I've ever got a fish from here it's been falling apart and soaked in grease I've been at least 8 times in the last year and each time no improvement a shame really as I live on the same street but will not be returning again I am sorry you feel this way, especially being so close to the chippy. Next time your passing feel free to discuss with the manager.
