We visited the "Chef & Brewer" in the early part of the week and returned today having enjoyed it so much on our first experience. Many congratulations to the relatively new chef on his outstanding preparation of the food. Well presented and really delicious! Served by super waitresses on both occasions. Special thanks to Hayley today for her sympathy and understanding when our little granddaughter felt poorly during the meal. We look forward to our next visit ... Sunday roast, perhaps?!Amrmt2014, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at our pub Have a great day, all the best!

Love your Local, Proper Pub food,
I was working in the area for the week and spent most of my evenings here. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Thereâs a fun quiz on Sundays and a more serious one on Thursdays. Discounts on ale on Mondays and wine on Sunday evenings. They also mentioned a new menu coming next week. This is a great pub, make sure you visit if youâre in the area.U5573vmdavidd, we are so happy to read such a great review about The Green Man! We always strive to provide top quality service to every guest, and are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience here at The Green Man!Best Wishes,The Green Man

I visited this pub on Tuesday with the intention of ordering food. I order our drinks and sat down at a table to look at the menu. The Menu was stuck together with food of some sort. The tables were sticky and marked. I went to the toilet whilst I was there and they were smelly and dirty with toilet paper all over the floor. My partner went to the male toilets and came down and said do you really want to eat here its disgusting the men's toilet is horrendous makes you want to heave. After sitting there finishing our drinks we noticed the décor of the place. Everywhere is dirty. My partner said to me what are the kitchens like if the rest of the place is this dirty??? We decided to leave and went to the Green man where we had a lovely meal in a clean pub. Shame on you Greene king your pubs are normally of a good standard but this pub really lets your company down.We are very sorry for the distress you found yourself in visiting our pub. I have no idea what happened on the day of question but rest assured it never normally happens or will ever happen again. I would like to thank you for our review and Iâm taking steps to ensure it never happens again. I hope to see you in the future. Many thanks

It does all the basics really well. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We booked a table for 8 including children. They catered for everyone's idiosyncrasies without any bother and all the meals arrived promptly (and at the same time). The menu is simple pub food with some home made pies and specials. Everyone was happy with their meal. Overall it was great value for money.

Where to start? Having been invited with family for a meal found the table dirty and sticky, despite being the first to sit there that day. Used wipes to clean the table, all ended up black but table still sticky. Food came out peace meal one of the group having finished before last was served. The vegetables were well cooked although the mash potato was very very lumpy. The Yorkshire pud was also good. A large portion of veg and a little meat. I had one slice although others had 2 and one had 4. One had a burger half of which was okay the other half burnt. In conclusion, food below average but need to either buy cleaner new clothes, show them how to clean or replace both.

Called in for evening meal while staying in hotel opposite due to good reviews. Both Filipino evening meals were pleasant but far from outstanding and very anglicised. Pricey for what we got. Beers ok but all cask ales by Everards. Small beer garden to the rear.

Classic pub-grub alongside more exquisite Mediterranean flavours. Excellent range of real ales
We donât come in here that often nowadays. The fish pie Warwickshire Smokie was fabulous- generous helping and extremely tasty. Staff are doing their best tonight. What a pity the menâs toilets are in such a state Get it sorted!
