We came here on saturday night because we had a load of tesco vouchers to use up. Most other places in Stortford have stopped accepting them. I had Bolognese, what was given to me was perfectly edible but it certainly wasn't Bolognese. This was more like a tin of tomatoes mixed in with a bit of mince meat and penne pasta, so everything was wrong from the choice of pasta to the flavour. We also had the crab balls and calamari as starters which were very nice. The Cannelloni was ok but had too much tomato and hence was a bit watery, why do British Italian restaurants obsess with piling in excessive tomato to everything? The Calabrese pizza was very nice.My wife said the zero alcohol Peroni was the nicest no alcohol beer she had ever tasted, The deserts were great although Eton Mess is supposed to be smashed up! The coffee machine had broken, so no coffee. Why not nip out and buy some instant so the customers don't go without? They don't know what grappa is which is a bit strange for an italian restaurant. Their drinks menu is very limited, they don't sell spirits. In the end I had an irish coffee without the coffee, lol. Anyway, total was £90, bit of a gripe is they used a £30 tesco voucher to pay for £10 off the bill, so I lose £20. Service in general was great.

I could not believe my own Italian taste buds, absolutely insane the passion behind every single dish.We spoke long time about every ingredient being sourced from small producers to keep the quality over the top, well, not every ingredient, some of them are straight from Italy as they are quite rare in the UK.Definitely an amazing place to stop by at any given chance!(So good that iâve applied to work there!)

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Great quality food, in a relaxed environment. I felt comfortable taking my 4 year old there. There wasn't a separate child's menu but the options were available in smaller sizes and he enjoyed his pepperoni pizza.Hi Deborah,Thank you so much for leaving us a lovely review. I had the pleasure of going to Zizziâs recently for my Birthday meal, it was for 16 people so took some organising in advance. I liaised with Viraf the manager before hand organising a pre order for starters and mains to get things running smoothly on the night. The food was great, the service was excellent, the only thing that could be improved on is the cocktails which were ânot goodâ but thatâs easily fixable, drink something else :) I thoroughly recommend Zizziâs Bishop Stortford for a birthday meal and wouldnât hesitate to use them in the future. Thank you Zizziâs :)

Eat17 is an incredible shop all together. Bursting with different cultures there is a selection of food stalls plus your normal shop with added products.Petrucciâs pizza is the best in town and dare I say best I have had. The base is perfectly thin and crispy with a proper Italian crunch.The delicious sauce and cheese is neatly spread on top. And you can see all this yourself by watching the amazing pizza oven and chef(s) at work. The toppings were amazing (I had meat and anchovies). It had the perfect balance of toppings and the anchovies added a salty kick.Overall, the pizza here is perfect and the overall atmosphere unique. Bon Appetit

There are several restaurants, including the usual chains in Bishopâs Stortford serving Italian food. Cibo is a family run restaurant and itâs very refreshing to eat here.Itâs probably our favourite restaurant in Bishopâs Stortford, great atmosphere, lovely staff and great food, which is always freshly cooked and delicious. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is always a specials menu, in addition to the main one. The portions are generous and we usually share a dessert. Been coming here for a few years now and it really is great. The food is lovely, the space is lovely and the staff are so attentive and welcoming.We came mid afternoon when itâs a bit quieter as very aware from previous experience that this place gets extremely busy on a Saturday night.
